When I head out to a show I am just looking for cool…I don’t care anything about brand….Or what I may have thought of any particular model I have seen in the past…I’m a blank slate as they say…But!!.I would have taken a bet that I would find a 1975 AMC Pacer that was so cool I would have to shoot a video of it…That’s
exactly what I found at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals…I had seen the car a few weeks before at a previous show and to be honest I couldn’t believe my eyes…So I didn’t shoot it…But when I found it again at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals I couldn’t resist..It has a great stance….The interior is like brand new…The whole 1975 AMC Pacer is much nicer than new…There is a V-8 under the hood I can’t tell you what one…And I have no idea what they may have come from the factory with ..It’s bright red and the fit and finish is as nice as many show cars…This is a very nice car…If you where around when these fishbowls rolled the street this 1975 AMC Pacer is going to blow your mind…If you want to see a example of cool is cool…Here it is….Check it out!!

A 1965 Chevrolet C/10 Pickup that I found at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals South in Knoxville Tn…Nothing over the top or custom but a very nice restomod…A truck that you can hope in and cruise anywhere you want to go…The interior is a very nice version of what could been stock from Chevrolet back in 1965.
The light blue and white color combo works for Me..It gives it a fresh and happy feel about it….Under the hood is very clean..But not over done….Wheel choice is always a personal thing…But I have no problem with the ones on this 1965 Chevrolet C/10 Pickup I found at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals…This generation of Chevrolet C/10 is not as hot as the next…But they are still cool trucks and this one is worth a look..Check it out!!

A totally one off custom 132 Carrera slot car ….I came up with a idea a few months back to use my involvement and love for Slot car racing to raise some money for some kids that need any help they can get. ..I got with Will Hudson of Hudson’s Rod and Customs and He agreed to put His talents to work…I also asked Carreraslots.com to be involved by supplying the Car…And Dan Maffett of Maffett Motorwerks agreed to do a drawing for the car to be built off…Just like the process of building a award winning show car…In this video I speak with Will and Mike of Hudson’s Rod and Customs and they tell Me what has been done to this 1969 Ford Torino 132 Carrera Slot Car…..We will sell the car on a online auction…All of the proceeds will be donated to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital….I would love to have this totally one off custom Ford Torino so you will have to out bid Me…The highest bidder wins….No matter who they work for…Who they know…It won’t matter if they are not the highest bidder they won’t get it…This is all about helping some kids and giving back for some of the blessings we all take for granted everyday…So if you know a Car person that has everything…I promise they don’t have one of these Carrera slot cars….BID!!….BID!!!!BID!!!

I have been a fan of the GMC Syclone pickup truck since they first hit the streets and when I first spotted this one at the 2018 Auto Crusade Car show I could tell it was well taken care of…Then where I expected to see a turbo six….Was a LSA!?!?!…Come on Man.!!?!?!….Then I met the young Man that owned it and He explained that the original motor was in bad shape when He acquired this GMC Syclone and that the motor swap was His best option at getting the Truck back on the road…And as you will see He did a very nice job with the install…Looks like it was born that way…It is still AWD and I was told it will break them all lose…The paint has been redone to a very high standard…The interior is still stock…As much as I like Pro Auto Custom Interior..That is the way I would have to leave it…Wheels and tires have been changed and though that is always a personal choice I have no problem with the ones it wears…This is one very nice GMC Syclone Street Truck from the 2018 Auto Crusade Car Show…Check it out!!!

I remember the first time I laid eyes on Ron Berry’s Custom VW Kombi Bus in real life…2017 SEMA…I had seen it on the internet several times and it was love at first sight…I mean I knew there was nothing I wouldn’t do to shoot this crazy custom VW Kombi Bus if I ever had the chance..So there it was at SEMA 2017…I had made arrangements with a person in the booth…It was all set…Then when I came back…It was covered up!?!?!?….Time ran out….They apologized.. .But I was so disappointed….So turn the clock ahead to 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals and there it is again…Still every bit as cool as ever…So I shot what I could..When I had the chance…I wish I could have got better footage…But it was in a small display that was set up like a beach…Not the best for shooting a video…But I got it..Finally!..This VW Bus is as cool as it gets..The fabrication work is incredible and when you look at it…Impossible….It has a cartoon kinda of affect to it….Like a life size Hot Wheels…Way cool for sure…I hope you enjoy it as much as I did…Check it out!!!

A question I have been asked more than any other…Why do you always wear those Sunglasses all the time!?!!?….YOUR INDOORS TAKE OFF YOUR SUNGLASSES!!!..lol…I have been accused of being cross eyed.. On drugs…Drunk….lol…You name it….Things that didn’t even make sense…So yesterday out of the blue someone asked…Why do you always wear those Sunglasses….I replied….Why does it matter…See it has never made any sense to Me why people would even care..I mean ScottieDTV is not a fashion channel…And I’m just a Guy running around finding cool stuff…What’s it matter what I wear…I mean it’s all about the cool cars and trucks…bikes… Planes….Trains….lol…Not about My choice in fashion…lol…Anyway this is it…This is the reason I wear Sunglasses anytime I am in front of the camera…Ever wonder? A 1967 Pontiac Firebird Street Machine I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals…Of course the color caught my eye first and then the great stance….But the closer I got to it I could tell that it was not only a really nice custom 1967 Pontiac Firebired..But it was built with a purpose…Supercharged Lingenfelter Performance Engineering LS under the hood was clue one!…1967 Pontiac Firebirds were cool cars from the factory…Like the first gen Camaro they don’t need many changes to make them cool…Just some performance issues addressed and couple of trick changes made here and there….And leave it be..Now don’t get me wrong…This 1967 Pontiac Firebird is more than bright orange paint….There are several trick changes made to it…But nothing over the top…Nothing that takes away from the original cool of a 67 Firebird…Wheel choice is always a personal touch…But I dig the wheels….It’s a street beast…So it’s low and wide….Just like I like them…Custom chin spoiler….The interior is custom…A mix of race level finish and show car finish…This is one cool 1967 Firebird Street Machine that I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals I hope you like it as much as I did…Check it out!!

A 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle that attended the Concept One Pulley Track Day at the Atlanta Motorsports Park….I met Jimmy and His 1972 Chevelle last year at the 2017 Auto Crusade Car Show and I knew we had to get Him here for this event….If Jimmy is known for one thing…It’s burnouts…I would doubt that He would let anything in His collection that couldn’t do a great burnout….See Jimmy doesn’t just light them up….He takes pride in His burnouts….Not just how long…But He gives you tons of smoke….And we had the Atlanta Motorsports Park all to ourselves on this day…But location is also important to Mr Jimmy….Like main street at noon….Much better than some back street after dark…The man is a master…. Back to this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle…Jimmy tells me that He was told…Because He was to young to remember..That He fell in love with this car at first sight…Then like 10 years later He had the opportunity to buy it…So He did…Now it has a 498 under the carbon fiber hood…It has been redone from top to bottom in just 2.5 months so they take it on the Power Tour….SMH….Not only is this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle from the Concept One Pulley Track day at the Atlanta Motorsports Park a nice car…..It’s cool….And it gets driven..I know y’all like to hear that!?!…Check it out!!!

A 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS from the 2018 Auto Crusade Car Show….Talk about having your socks blown off…Never did I think I would find a GM G body that I would fall in love with like I did this one….But here it is…A supercharged LS…Six speed…T-top car!!!…I could have never dreamed….But Man is it cool….The car was bought new and has been in the same family everyday…Top to bottom…This is a very nice car…All custom interior…The dash is a very cool feature that really sets this 86 Monte Carlo SS apart from one that has just been redone to this level…The whole car just works….Not sure what you do to make a car look totally different from the rest….Yet not lose the identity of what the car looked liked back in the day..But they did it…Even as I type this I’m still amazed at how blow away I am by this 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS From the 2018 Auto Crusade Car Show…I hope you enjoy it as much as I did…One very cool 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS from the 2018 Auto Crusade Car Show check it out!!!!!

A 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Pro Street that is just rollin out of Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors…When this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette showed up at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors it already had a custom interior in it…The current owner did not originally build this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette but bought it after it had been done a couple of years….The motor was missing so He had to run that down…But for the most part the car was as it is now..Minus the Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors one off full leather custom interior…By now if you follow the ScottieDTV channel you have come accustom to Steve and the Boys work….
Well they didn’t disappoint…The one off custom pro street interior they built for this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is perfect….It’s hard to believe this car first rolled out back in 1990…Looks like it was built yesterday.. .Great stance….It’s bright red..So you can’t go wrong there…Big fat wide tires…Intake peeking through the hood…Just a very cool build…Check it out!!!
