Check out this GMC Suburban I found at the 2019 Holley LS Fest east….Laying on the ground with chrome hubcaps…But that is where the shine stops… Old sweaty….Just pulled out of the field is the look going on here with this 1953 GMC Suburban from the 2019 Holley LS Fest east I dig this look…Not some much the “fake patina”….But this one has a very solid body…But the paint may be original…You can tell the rust is!…lol…This 53 Suburban Patina Rod rod the 2019 LS Holley LS Fest has nice wheels….A great interior…..And some custom work under the hood showing off the LS transplant…Just enough to let You know this 1953 GMC Suburban is no hoopty…It’s a Hot Rod that will take you anywhere you want to go…The worn paint that is left on the body is a light blue and the very nice full custom interior is done in a light grey leather with a light grey insert material…Works really well in my opinion Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will work for everyone…But the rim and hubcap combination fits this build really well…There is a LS under the hood with some really nice fire wall work and a general cleaning up under there…Very fitting and very cool for sure. I am a fan of this 1953 GMC Suburban from the 2019 Holley LS Fest east and I am sure You will be to…Check it out!!!

Check out this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine I found at the 2019 Auto Crusade Car Show…Black 69 Camaro’s are at about every show I attend but most of those are shinny mile deep paint and that is always a good look….There are a few that will have flat stripes on them this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine from the 2019 Auto Crusade Car Show is just opposite….The main black is a satin and the stripes are gloss…A cool look…And one that is a little tricky to pull off……Stance is king and this 69 Camaro Street Machine has a low but very drivable stance with some wheels that finish that aggressive look of a street machine….The interior is a Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors creation and even though it is all custom it is very user friendly and very fitting for this build as always Steve and the boys knocked another one out of the part….Under the hood you won’t find any custom paneling…But You will find a big block Chevrolet v-8…Cleaned up….But again this one was not built to show…It was built to go…On the bottom you will find all the good suspension parts to help get that big block power to the ground…Like I said 1969 Chevrolet Camaro are everywhere but this one from the 2019 Auto Crusade Car Show is a little different and very cool….Check it out!!!

Beyond all odds…The ScottieDTV.com SSUV will be driven to the 2019 SEMA Show this is some of the first video footage of it running correctly…It had run before…But not for long and it was happy at all…It is now ecstatic and making good horse power on just 5 pounds of boost…The plan is to drive in convoy from Big Oak Garage in Hokes Bluff Alabama to Las Vegas Nevada to be displayed at the 2019 SEMA Show…It has been a adventure to get to this point the trip ahead is sure to be a fun one…We will be rolling with the Blow Mafia crew so we will be deep…Big Oak Garage is hauling the Rocket Wheels Camaro and Garret’s Rod Shop 1968 Plymouth Barracuda out there also Going to be a great trip and of course I will try to bring you along ..Or at least make you fell like You were there to….Check out the teaser video and follow the ScottieDTV Facebook page for updates on how things are going on the way to Vegas and SEMA 2019!!

Check out this 1985 Chevrolet C10 street Truck from the 2019 Auto Crusade Car Show… This body style Chevrolet C/10 has a big following and one that is getting bigger by the day…This custom pickup doesn’t have many body mods…As a matter of fact it still has it’s mirrors..Door handles…What looks to Me like all the factory trim…But make no mistake this 2005 Chevrolet C/10 pickup has been taken to the next level..Stance is king and this Pickup from the 2019 Auto Crusade Car show has as good of a stance as you will get and still be able to drive it to dinner without a worry…Wheels are always a personal choice but I like that the wheels are period correct for this build…Nothing to fancy of over the top…But ones that work well in my opinion for this build…The interior is very nice and fits the build well with a next level factory look about it…Under the hood no custom paneling…But things have been cleaned up and hopped up…If hear what I’m saying?!!?…lol…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck from the 2019 Auto Crusade Car Show is set up to cruise and has a old school cool look about it that really works for Me.I’m sure it will work for You to!!

Check out this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Street Machine I found at the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville Ky…When someone says that a car or truck has “The Look” this is what they are talking about…It’s not about how much money has been spent..Or about the custom modifications that have been made to it….If it has “The Look” that’s all that matters and this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Street Machine from the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals has the look…Stance in first and for most…And for a car that can be driven…This one sets nice and low…Wheel are always a personal choice but the ones on this 67 Chevelle work perfect with this car and then add redline tires!?!…I love redline tires and they set this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle off perfectly…The interior is not over the top custom but a nice version of a very nice stock interior from Chevrolet back in 67…Under the hood is a old school 396 Big block sporting Chevy orange just like it would have back in the day…This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals is one very cool Hot Rod and I am sure You will agree..Check it out!!

Check out this video I shot while down at the 2019 Hot Rod Happenin’ Alabama in Hokes Bluff Alabama…This event was held in conjunction with the 2019 Hokes Bluff City Fest so it was a day of Hot Rods … Live music..Great food…All kinds of local crafts and even a kids zone….A very nice way to spend a Saturday….The Hot Rod Happenin’ Alabama Car Show is a open show with everything from late model factory Hot Rods to some of the first automobiles and trucks that were ever made…All the American manufacturers Chevrolet.. Ford and MOPAR were all well represented..But there were a few imports there also..Jacked up 4×4’s and slammed street machines to full restored nicer than new stuff…Something for everyone…The Hot Rod Happenin’ Alabama was held at the Hokes Bluff City Park and it is just a beautiful place to have a family friendly event like the Hokes Bluff City Fest and Hot Rod Happenin’ Car show….If you were not able to make it this year…Start to make plans to make it next year….Big Oak Garage and the City of Hokes Bluff Alabama will do all they can to make sure You have a good time…Check it out!!

Check out this 1970 AMC AMX Pro Street car I found at the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals..I don’t have a ton of information on this 1970 AMC AMX build from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals…I believe it has been done a couple of years and that they call it…American Express…It has body mods from front to back what exactly has been done…You can be the judge obviously it has been tubed to make room for the big meats out back..Bumpers have all been molded in….It’s covered in a orange paint that was working overtime in the Louisville Ky sun at the 2019 National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals…The interior is just as custom and over the top as the rest of the build…Wheels are always a personal choice but I’m fine with the ones this 1970 AMC AMX from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals wears…Stance is king and this 70 AMX sets very nice imho..It has a whole in the hood with a blower sticking through…But what is below that?…I’m not sure..What I am sure of is that it should make plenty of horsepower…You don’t see a lot of the AMC brand cars hot rodded…And when I find a cool one like this 1970 AMC AMX Pro Street Car…American Express from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals I always like to shoot a quick video..I thought it was a very cool build and I am sure You will to…Check it out!!

Check out this 1939 Ford Sedan Delivery Street Rod I found at the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals…”Delivered On Time”…This very cool…Very custom 1939 Ford Sedan Delivery was a Great 8 winner at The Detroit Autorama 2018 a very nice build for sure…What is custom and what is stock I can’t tell you..But what I can tell you is that all the Fit and Finish is as nice as you will find on any street rod or custom vehicle and if you know what your looking at…There is plenty to see…The all custom interior is covered in distressed leather and suede with little zebra wood mixed in for a very nice contrast… Stance is king and this 1939 Ford Sedan sets just as it should….Nice and low….Wheels are always a personal choice and I am good with the ones this 1939 Ford Sedan Delivery Street Rod from the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals wears….Under the custom hood I would hope to find a Ford Power Plant….But if not…Then let it be a HEMI!!!..That’s right a 5.7 HEMI and a lot of custom panel work…Very nice for sure…The whole build will have your mouth hanging open..Like it did mine…Check it out!!!

Check out this 1936 Ford I found at The SEMA Show 2018…Well what started as a 1936 Ford Truck Cab and Fenders…The rest is all…. One off Custom…Hand formed sheet metal. This 1936 Ford Cab Over “Cab Over Evolved” from the 2018 SEMA Show is crazy cool…And crazy custom…Inspired by a trip to the store and a Hot Wheels in 2004 the back story is as cool as the project…Where do I start…The one off hand formed custom body work just flows…It still has that vintage truck look to it..But with a way modern spin???….22’s on the front and 26’s on the back…Wheels are always a personal choice but the custom wheels this 1936 Ford Cab Over wears work well for Me….They work well with the aggressive look it has about it…As You will see the interior is still a work in progress…This custom truck from the 2018 SEMA Show deserves something fitting and cool in there…There is a 5.9 Cummins hidden under there somewhere although I didn’t see it….One of the coolest features on the truck that has a ton of cool custom features is the rear suspension….It’s custom…And it’s cool…You will just have to see it..No way I can put into words…I love when someone just follows their dreams and doesn’t let anything get in their way…And then shares it with the world…This truck has a lot of time and money in it and the owner/builder just let’s us look at it for free…What a great country We live in!!..One very cool custom Ford Truck from the 2018 SEMA Show…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be to…Check it out!!

Check out this….A Grumman LLV…Long Life Vehicle…Better known as a US Mail truck…And now this one from the 2019 Holley LS Fest east has been LS Swapped???…That’s correct after attending Holley LS Fest a couple of years ago the builder of this ….Are you serious!?!? Hot Rod had a US Mail truck pull out in front of Him and His Wife as they were leaving… They knew what they wanted to do…LS swap a Grumman LLV US Mail truck…The interior has a coupe of seats and what it takes to make this LS swapped US Mail truck move…The tires and wheels have been upgraded but it is pretty much a stock US Postal Vehicle…They are built on the Chevrolet S-10 blazer chassis to they have pretty reliable suspension…Put this LS Swapped US Postal Mail Truck down as ….Proof Americans will hot rod anything.. And at the end of the day they can even make a US Mail truck cool…Make sure You stick around to see it in the Holley LS Fest east Burnout contest…Cut them some slack…They where pushed to make the 2019 Holley LS Fest east event…Still should make You smile…Check it out!!!
