In this video from the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run I catch the Cars and Trucks from the indoor part of the event as they drive out the backdoor of the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge Tn….The Pigeon Forge Rod Run has been going on for 39 years and is one of the best Car Shows of the Year…This event has several parts to it…You have the high end cars and trucks inside the Leconte Center….Then out on front of the Leconte Center there are more nice car and trucks around the circle…There is only so much room inside the Leconte center…So this is the next best display spots…Then there are more Cars and Trucks in the vendor area out in the parking lot and the city of Pigeon Forge is crawling with 1000’s more cars and trucks….Street Rods….Hot Rods…Custom…Restored….You will find something for everyone at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run…I shoot several videos covering this event and one of the videos I always try to put together is this “Drive Out” video…On Saturday afternoon after awards the rush to get out the door is on…And I take advantage of that to bring you a video of all that was the best of the best at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run drives out the door…Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Pigeon Forge Tn..I caught up with this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle… Covered in mile deep black paint, medium/light blue stripes and just the right amount of chrome….It has a classic cool look!!.. This 70 chevy Chevelle was built by Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop and is close in color combination to a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette they build a couple of years back… I think it really works well on both cars..The full custom leather interior is the same color as the stripes and the creation of Pro Auto Custom Interiors by Steve Holcomb…Bobby doesn’t want to get to crazy when it comes to interior He likes it to look like it could have come from the factory. Just much nicer, Steve and the Boys out at Pro Auto Custom Interiors always deliver…Wheels and tires are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone….Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop always uses a wheel that works well with the rest of the build…This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle from the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run is no exception… Under the hood is a LSX 454 that looks like a ring in a box…A very clean and cool install for sure…These 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle were cool cars from the factory and they make very cool Hot Rods with just a few modifications….Always one of my favorites for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video I take the 2021 ScottieDTV You Can’t Cool Road Tour to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky to take a look at the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth exhibit. Ed Roth is a legendary artist and custom car builder from back in the day…I shot several videos of this exhibit and in this one I take a closer look at Ed “Big Daddy” Roth 1956 Ford F100 Shop Truck…This is a truck that Ed bought new…He took it back to the shop and added His personal touch to it….This custom pickup started life a green color and Ed painted it a pearl white with bright red flames…Ed added some pinstriping to the dash but other than that the interior is stock…Ed “Big Daddy” Roth was famous for crazy custom cars that where nothing like anything you could get from the factory…He was also known for cool artwork that included these creations with monsters driving them…Hanging out of the roof…And of course Rat Fink the Hot Rod Rat that he created that is still a badge of honor to anyone that wears one..He airbrushed some of this artwork on the bed cover..I believe the wheels and tires are stock…I love to be able to cover something like this Ed “Big Daddy” Roth exhibit from the National Corvette Museum…To have the opportunity to cover custom car history…Is very cool for sure and I am honored to be able to bring it to you…Hope You enjoy the video…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show held in Birmingham Al I do a little walking around the show…I shot several feature videos at this event but there is never enough time to cover all the cool at a World Of Wheels Custom Car Show….2021 was the 50th anniversary of the World Of Wheels Custom Car Show so they have been showing cool for a long time….And to be able to keep a custom car showing running for 50 years….It has to be a pretty good event….I have covered the World Of Wheels Birmingham AL several times and I always come away with several cool videos for the ScottieDTV Channel…2021 was no exception…Actually with COVID pretty much shutting down the 2020 Custom Car Show season….2021 was exceptional….In this video I tried to include something for everyone.. In this video I stopped by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 2015 Chevrolet Corvette…If You follow the channel You know Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Interiors is one of the best custom interior shops in the world….You also know that most of the time they work their magic on things like classic muscle cars…Street Rods…And highly customized cars and trucks. I’m sure it come as no surprise that they can make anything cool they put their minds to….It’s not like we haven’t seen them do modern Cars…They did a BMW a couple of years ago….They did a awesome job on my 2008 Ford Mustang….The ScottieDTV 2005 GMC Yukon….It’s just they don’t do it everyday. ..It’s not their bread and butter as they say….Steve’s Brother bought this 2015 Chevrolet Corvette a couple of years ago and is just starting to do some personal touches to it..And when Your Brother is one of the best Custom Interior Guys on the planet….You start there….Steve and the Boys at Pro Auto Custom Interiors killed it…There is not another Chevrolet Corvette on the street with a interior like this one….Check it out!!!!

In this video from the ScottieDTV You Can’t Cancel Cool Road Tour 2021 I stop by the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY I check out the Sinkhole Exhibit…I remember the morning of February 12, 2014…Like it was yesterday…I was at ET MotorGear that morning and Steve came back into the shop telling us to check out a video…I called BullS==t….If it were true?…It would be all over the news?!?!…Well a few hours later it was all over the news….A sinkhole had opened up under the National Corvette Museum and swallowed up some of the most historical cars on display….A 30 ft hole… Inside the Corvette Museum….during the night….Had swallowed 8 historical Chevrolet Corvette..Crazy!?!? I mean we all have seen them on TV….But have one at such a high profile venue drew worldwide attention…Moat people were in shock like Me…But in true American spirit the National Corvette Museum has turned lemons into lemonade..I mean…As a Car Guy…I wished it would have never happened…As a Proud American I wished that it would have never happened….But it did…And this Sinkhole Exhibit is a cool way to remember that day…So much better than dragging the Cars to a junkyard…And a perfect way to remember the power of Nature…I thought it was cool..I’m sure You will to…From the National Corvette Museum….The Sinkhole Exhibit….Check it out!!!

In this video I take the 2021 ScottieDTV You Can’t Cancel Cool Road Tour to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY….I had been meaning to get to the National Corvette Museum for some time now…I really wanted to get there when they announced that they would be hosting the Ed “Big Daddy” Rother display…COVID happened and it got put on the back burner…Then they announced that the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth display would be held over through April 2021…A call to Will over at Big Oak Garage…He does a podcast with one of the “Big Wigs” over at the National Corvette Museum and He had Me in like Flynn..And let me say…The staff of the National Corvette Museum are some very nice well informed people…I really enjoyed my visit…This video is a general walk through of the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth display…Ed’s influence is part of so much of custom car history.. He is credited with being the first to advertise on a t-shirt…Now car show t-shirts are a staple souvenir at car shows all over the world…There are several of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth custom creations displayed here..But there is also a bunch of Ed’s artwork…The advertisements from the Revell models he inspired…Just a ton a custom car and truck history…I really enjoyed my visit..Check it out!!!

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up the custom interior in this 1968 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck…Procrastinator…If You follow the channel you may recognize this 68 C10 from the 2021 Birmingham World Of Wheels Custom car show.. That is where this truck unveiled…I have known the owner of this truck Mike for several years and during the weekend He asked if I could work some magic and get Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors to get this truck in for a tune up on the interior….By the Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run…A BIG ask.. Steve stays backed up…The interior this 1968 Chevrolet C10 had was fine for cruising around and showing the truck off…But to make it a serious contender at a World Of Wheels type event…It needed to be taken to the next level…The interior is now part Pro Auto Custom Interior and part what the truck had when it rolled out…Steve and the Boys did a nice job of melting the two and giving this 1968 Chevrolet C10 the custom leather interior it needed..Under the hood is a 502 Big Block… There are a few body mods..But all the cool of a 68 C10 is still there…It’s on air…So you can lay it on the ground…Or cruise it high and proud…Whatever suits you…The Chevrolet C/10 pickups are hot and this 1968 Chevrolet C10 Street Truck…Procrastinator..Is fire!!..Check it out!!!

In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky I check out the one and only 1983 Chevrolet Corvette…There had been a long debate on whether there were any true 1983 Corvette….And if so…Were there any left….In a barn somewhere?….Hidden from public eye..Like some stolen art work…Or D.B Cooper…lol…Well the answer is at the National Corvette Museum. There is one…..Left…lol..There were 47 at one time…They were all crushed except this one that is at the National Corvette Museum….How cool is that!?!?…Now….There is so much more to the history of this car…I named it God’s Corvette…This 1983 Chevrolet Corvette should not be setting there…If it were up to General Motors it would have been crushed….They ordered it crushed…But it was saved by accident??..I think not!!..lol..Only Divine Intervention could have saved it…Not once!!…But twice.. This 1983 Chevrolet Corvette was at the National Corvette Museum when the sinkhole happen and it was saved a second time…Less than 5′ from going in….This is one very cool Chevrolet Corvette with a amazing History..Check it out!!!

In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky I stumbled across a parking lot full of 2021 Corvettes…The C8 Corvette is arguably the hardest car to get right now…The first generation of mid-engine Corvettes has been a big hit to say the least….You can only imagine my surprise when I was cruising around the test track at the National Corvette Museum and came across rows and rows of them…Every color…Every option….There they sat…They still had shipping packaging on them so my guess is that they were staged there for shipping…Or maybe delivery at the National Corvette Museum….I’m not sure…But as You will see in the video…I was very excite about finding them…To be honest….I wasn’t a fan when the C8 came out…I’m still not crazy about them..I do realize that they are only trying to do what best for the performance of the car…But I’m a rear wheel, front engine…American V8 kinda guy….After my visit to the National Corvette Museum I have warmed up to them a little more…Still not a fan….But I did buy a $20 raffle ticket in hopes of winning one…lol..Fingers Crossed….And being a Car guy I did appreciate the position I found myself in.. Standing in a sea of 2021 C8 Corvettes….That’s cool like them or not…Check it out!!!
