I mean what can you say…It’s Cousin Eddie’s RV from the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation movie…It’s iconic…Once you have seen the sewer scene …You will never get that out of your head..So how cool is it that I found it at the 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama…I have seen the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation movie several times and Cousin Eddie has had me laughing so hard I wasn’t sure I would live and now right in front of Me was His RV…lol..That’s the thing about the Summit Racing Equipment Motorama…They have all kinds of cool…From High end show cars…Autocross…A BBQ competition!?!..And then Cousin Eddie’s RV from the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation a very cool event for sure…Make plans to make it to the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama…It’s never to early and the dates are up on their website..Check them out!!!

A 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Street Machine built by Mike Goldman Customs that debut at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals…Lot of custom touches on this one…But they didn’t lose any of the cool of a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette….There is a 500 Hp LT1 under the one off custom hood…Mike Goldman’s Customs also widened the rear quarters…They put some ZR1 Style vents in the lower part of the front fenders…A completely custom interior that fits the build perfectly and I know your going to love…The GoodGuy’s Rod & Custom Association holds their annual Street Machine of the year competition and this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette was giving it a good run for the top award 2018 GoodGuy’s Street Machine Of the Year it didn’t win…But it was a hit of the show never the less…The custom side pipes are one of my favorite features of the 1964 Chevrolet Corvette…The stance and wheel choice are spot on for sure..This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette is exactly what you expect from Mike Goldman Customs…Cool..Clean…Well built….Built to drive Hot Rod

The 1973 Chevrolet Camaro built by The Big Oak Garage for The Rocket Wheel Company…Rocket Racing Wheel Company approached The Big Oak Garage about building them something that they could use to feature there muscle car wheels….Given just a short time frame to get this Autocross Monster built…Will of The Big Oak Garage tells Me that they had to move some things around to make it happen but the opportunity to build something as cool as this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro autocross car that the whole shop got behind the build and made it happen….They were able take it to the Des Moines GoodGuy’s Autocross event and shake it down before the official debut at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals Autocross event….Now The Big Oak Garage is know for building some of the most high end builds on the planet…They won a Great 8 at Detroit a couple of years ago….This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Autocross car is not on that level…But it is cool..And as they found out at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals Autocross event…It is fast!!!…It’s cool to see these classic muscle cars still making laps and laying down some rubber…And it also cool to see that a builder like The Big Oak Garage that is known for building some of the coolest custom cars and trucks on the planet…Can also build a car that can go out and turn some fast laps..And still cruise the strip at night…Ohhh Ya….This car is also street legal….Very cool build for sure..I’m sure your going to love it…Check it out!!!

The 2018 GoodGuy’s Street Rod of the Year field…Every year the top Street Rod Builders in the world assemble in Columbus Ohio at the GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals to see if they have built the Best Street Rod Of The Year…The selection process takes most of the weekend as you can imagine it’s no easy task to pick the best…From the best…But somehow they do it…On Friday they move these awesome Street Rods into a building for the public to get a good look at these works of art…The time and money that sits in this building will blow your mind…Everyone of these cars entered are worthy of the top award of 2018 GoodGuy’s Street Rod of the Year…But only one can win…I wouldn’t want to have to choose the Street Rod of Year…Would you…If so…What one would you choose??…These are some very cool cars…Check them out!!

I believe that this is either a 1971 or 1972 Chevrolet C/10 that I found at the 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama The current owner had not had the truck long so He couldn’t tell Me anything about the build…But from walking around it you can tell that there was a lot of time and money spent on this 71 C/10 the last time it was redone…Laying on the ground with a great wheel choice…The orange and white two tone paint really pops in the Georgia sunshine…A bench seat interior is nothing over the top but it is just what this build needed….Under the hood it has been cleaned up a little…But this is still a truck so it’s not overdone…
These Chevrolet C/10’s are as hot of a build as there is right now and this 1971 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck that I found at the 2018 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama is another one that will make you want to start saving your penny’s for your very own…

A 1969 Chevrolet El Camino that I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals…A blown alcohol big block 468 street beast…This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals has been totally redone with all the top of the line parts to make sure that it can get the around 1000 HP to the ground….The body is straight as arrow and covered in atomic orange paint that just goes crazy with color in the sun and looks pretty good under the lights of the indoor portion of the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals..The interior in what you would have found at the Chevrolet dealer back in 1969 is a SS Chevelle or 69 El Camino…Very nice and fits this build perfectly…This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino doesn’t have many body modifications…But the metal work for the whole in the hood is a work of art and a very cool feature of this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino….If your into the Pro Street style hot rod your going to love this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino…If your just into cool hot rods than for sure don’t miss this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals it will make you want to go drag race someone..lol..Check it out!!

Every year at the Goodguy’s PPG Nationals in Columbus Ohio they crown Street Machine of the Year…There are several events that lead up to the announcement of the 2018 GoodGuy’s Street Machine of the year. First they are all gathered in a parking lot on the Ohio Expo fairgrounds….Than sometime on Friday morning GoodGuy’s line up all the cars that are competing for the title of 2018 GoodGuy’s Street Machine of the year….Then they parade those cars through the fairgrounds over to the GoodGuy’s Autocross track were they are required to make two laps…To prove they will stop and run on their own…After that…The 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals Street Machine of the year cars are put in a building for public viewing….In this video from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals I follow these cars through each of these stages…This is a BIG event that everyone works hard and looks forward to every year….Some very cool builds for sure and you get to see them running and driving..Then just setting under the lights in all their glory looking cool…I think your going to really enjoy this video…Check it out!!!

A 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt editions that I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals in Columbus Oh…The much anticipated 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition has not even hit the streets…As of the time this video was shot….The 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition was not available to the public..This 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Edition from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals was a pre-production car so it is important to note that what you see in the video of this 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition may not be what you see when these 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Editions hit the dealer show rooms…All of the bullitt editions only come in green and they all have the 5.0 Coyote under the hood….Brembo breaks on all four corners….So you should be able to drive it just like the one in the movie…They are cool Cars…Check it out!!!

A real deal Split Window 1963 Chevrolet Corvette that I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals in Columbus Oh…VetteZilla as it has been named is a street car with a big chip on it’s shoulder…A Blown 555 Chevrolet Big Block with a 671 BDS Blower making 1400 HP with a 500 Shot of NOS sticking through what little hood there is room for is the first thing you will notice….With a very cool Carbon fiber intake…Actually there is a lot of carbon fiber in this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette VetteZilla from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals….The floor pan….Most of the dash….All Carbon Fiber…Yet the interior still has a 63 Split Window Corvette feel….Even with the tubs to hold the 20’s out back and a roll bar. It still has a Corvette feel ..I think that there will be a lot of Corvette fans freaked out over the fact that someone cut up a precious 1963 Split Window Corvette….But if you are going to cut one up….Make it count…I think you will dig it…Check it out!!

A walk through the 2018 Pigeon forge Rod Run Spring held at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge TN….The Pigeon Forge Rod Run has been having two shows a year…One in the spring….One in the Fall..For over 30 years….The spring show host the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen….Around twelve cool Hot Rods I have posted to ScottieDTV YouTube channel and ScottieDTV.com….But there are also several cool Hot Rods that aren’t part of that invited group….In this video I do a quick walk around of the indoor portion of the 2018 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Spring….Keep in mind this is not all there is to see at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run….The whole town of Pigeon Forge Tn is cool Hot Rods from one end of town to the other…So get something cold to drink and let Me do the walking as we check out all the cool that was inside the LeConte Center at the 2018 Pigeon Forge Rod Run spring….Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!
