Check out this custom 1954 Ford two ton tow truck I found at the 2018 SEMA Show…The “Rat Rod Hooker”..This 1954 Ford two ton tow truck was part of the 2018 How Wheels competition that was held a several locations through out the United States and the winner were invited to display their rides in a area that was all Hot Wheels…The cool thing about these builds that were chosen for this special invite to SEMA is that most are home built and they have no respect for function…It’s all about crazy cool and this 1954 Ford Tow Truck the “Rat Rod Hooker” is way cool…And crazy…Where to start…I don’t think there is much that is still factory Ford….It’s all custom…Wide whites…Old school flames…Custom tow mechanism on the back..The interior…Matches the build…Not real high end…But cool and perfect for this 1954 Ford two ton truck ….The “Rat Rod Hooker” from the 2018 SEMA Show…There is no hood…But there is a Ford Engine out front and a Ford in a Ford is always cool to see…I’m sure this 1954 Ford two ton two truck from the 2018 SEMA Show will make you smile like it did Me…Check it out!!

Check out this 1972 Datsun 240Z I found at the 2019 Holley LS Fest east…I was introduced to the car as a 1972 Datsun 240Z body that had been fitted to a C6 ZO6 chassis…Fairlady ZO6 is much more than that…And even if that is what it was…That would be cool..It does have the front and rear cradle from a C6 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6….It does have a LS7 like the C6 ZO6 Corvette…The roof…Firewall and rear taillight panel are all from the 1972 Datsun 240Z…Everything else is hand made one off custom and all built in a 20×20 garage…The Fairlady ZO6 was built to rip up asphalt but it is street legal it was entered into the 2019 Holley LS Fest east Grand Champion Competition were part of what it needed to do was be street legal and actually navigate public roads…Wheels are always a personal choice but in this case…Performance overrides looks so if these wheels make it fast…Then they are cool…If they don’t…Throw them out!!..The interior in this 1972 Datsun 240Z Fairlady ZO6 from the 2019 Holley LS Fest east is all custom and set up for keeping one safe at high speeds…Even so it is done to a very nice level…I cover a lot of high end custom cars and trucks and this 72 Datsun 240Z was not built to win the Show and Shine part of the Holley LS Fest….But it could…All the work is done to a very high level..I’m usually not into putting the Chevrolet LS into anything that is not GM..But when you are LS Fest you have to keep a open mind…And I always say…Cool is Cool…This 1972 Datsun 240 Z Fairlady ZO6 from the 2019 Holley LS Fest east is way cool for sure and I am sure you will agree….Check it out!!!

Check out this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Street Machine that was invited to the 2019 Concept One Pulley Systems Track Day at the Atlanta Motorsports Park…The current owner went down the the local convenience store one night and while looking at some magazines fell in love with this car on one of the covers…lol…Crazy I know…But that’s the story…After several years the owner decided He wanted to make some changes and the builder tells Me that this 64 Chevelle is just getting back on the street after some extensive modifications When the car showed up it looked good…But had some mechanical issues ..So that’s where it started…A LSX 454 was installed in place of the 572 Big Block…A T56 six speed was added…Big breaks…The paint and gaps were about 80% so they decided to leave that be.. The interior is custom…Nothing crazy…But very fitting for the build…This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle from the 2019 Concept One Pulley Systems Track Day From The Atlanta Motorsports Park has a great stance and wheels are always a personal choice but the 18’s this 64 Chevelle wears….Work for Me…This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle is one cool car for sure and I am sure You will want to see it…Check it out!!!

Check out this video I shot at the 2019 Holley LS Fest east….10yr’s of mayhem….The Holley LS Fest is a event that I first attended in 2017 and ever since I have told people …If You have a LS or LT powered vehicle….LS Fest is like a playground for You and your car…Or Truck…It doesn’t matter about make or model…Nothing matters except what’s under the hood…Or in the back seat..Or the trunk…😂😂😎 You just never know at this event…It’s a event that people bring their best….or worst…lol…Ideas….And it’s all supported and welcomed…A good time had by all for sure…I attend many events in a year shooting video for ScottieDTV and I have seen my share of Burnout Contest….Usually they have a “safe zone” set up and people lock in and let it rip…The winner usually has blown the rear tires off and made a bunch of smoke….It’s cool…..But I don’t have them on the “must shoot list” for the weekend..
But!!…I did attend the burnout contest at the 2019 Holley LS Fest east to get a clip of a mail truck I had shot…Thought it would be a good addition to the video…To My surprise this burnout contest was not a stationary event…But Australian style..Think NASCAR victory burnout but you don’t have to win a NASCAR race to get the chance…At the Holley LS Fest all you have to do is sign up…How cool is that!?!?!…Here it is…I can’t even tell You how cool this was to shoot..It’s going to blow your mind what people will do to a GM LS engine Amazing and very cool…From the 2019 Holley LS Fest east …10 Years of Mayhem…The burnout contest…Check it out!!!!

Check out this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette I found at the 2019 Goodguys PPG Nationals. Green Mamba is a full out autocross car…But built to the level of a high end custom…This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette has a ton of body mods and you have to be careful when making changes to car that was cool from the factory…And they nailed this one…The changes made all work for Me..But may not for the die hard Corvette fan…It is called the Green Mamba and is covered in a color green that fits that name perfectly…The interior is all custom and finished to a level you would see in a high end show car…Stance is everything and this Chevrolet Corvette being set up for the autocross track…It has wide tries and and low stance…Just how I like them…Wheels are always a personal choice but I dig the ones they chose for this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette from the 2019 Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus Ohio…I wasn’t able to catch it with the hood open..But from the research I have done it looks like it is powered by a naturally aspirated LS7…There is a clip at the end of the video of this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette doing what it was built to do…Make fast laps!…A very cool build for sure…Check it out!!!

Check out this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air I found at the 2019 National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals from Louisville Ky…I remember seeing this 57 Chevy last year at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals and although I knew that it was a nice car…I didn’t really slow down and check it out…While it was waiting be be photographed for it place in the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals builder show chase I did get a chance to check it out…And I feel in love.. What a cool car…Bit not one that screams…CHECK ME OUT!!!…lol….But more like….Hey buddy check this out…lol….And then it sucks you in….The colors..Yellow and Brown…Not what I would call…WOW colors….But this 1957 Chevrolet from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nations wears the soooo well…The perfect shades of both colors to compliment each other….Wheels are always a personal choice…But these work really well for Me…Size and style…Perfect for this build…The interior has some really cool custom features but nothing over the top or crazy custom….But a all leather custom interior that makes one want to slide into the front seat and take a cruise…And speaking of cruising…Under the hood is a Chevy LS7 and some very nice custom metal work…But like everything about this build very clean and complementary of the rest of this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air build…One very cool car for sure…I feel in love….I;m sure You will to….Check it out!!!

Check out this video I shot while attending the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama…This event is open to anything with a engine and wheels and there is something for everyone…It is held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and they want to make sure yo have a good time…It is a family friendly event so there is even a lids zone with all kinds of things the youngest will surly enjoy…They have autocross for those that want to get out and use their hot rods…Of course they have cool cars and trucks everywhere but they invite some special high end builds in the pits….They always have a area where they display several cars that fit a theme….2019 it was high speed type cars…Very cool to see these cars because they usually only show up at the top speed slat flat type events…The Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama is a event that I look forward to every year and I’m sure you will see why…Check it out!!!

Check out this 1948 Dodge Power Wagon I found at the 2019 National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals from Louisville Ky…When I am at a event I am on the look out for cool I don’t care the Brand..Year….Style….Color….Cool is Cool to Me…Now with that said…I usually shot things closer to the ground..I prefer a low stance and big tires and although this 1948 Dodge Power Wagon from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals has BIG tires…It does not have a low stance..Quite the opposite….It’s a jacked up 4×4 truck with a dump bed…But Man is it cool…I mean beer tap on the side cool…The interior has a bench seat with a diamond pleat headliner…Very cool…..Not sure what’s under the hood of this monster but it sure sounds good…The build quality is very nice…This 1948 Dodge Power Wagon is the real deal high quality custom truck…The suspension is all high end four wheel drive stuff finished and it’s finished to a very nice level…It has tons of ground clearance… And I’m sure it will take you anywhere you want to go..But I would hate to see it get dirty…This 1948 Dodge Power Wagon from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals made me smile and I am sure it will do the same for You…Very cool for sure…Check it out!

Check out this 1956 Chevrolet Namad Wagon I found at the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals This car has been in the family since very early in it’s life and the current owner inherited it from His father a few years back and as soon as He got it He knew what He wanted to do…. Turn it into a High End Hot Rod so He took it to reputable custom shop and started writing checks…lol…They debuted it at the 2019 Nationals Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in the builder show case Louisville Ky and I was there to see it…The colors are unique and may not work for everyone but they are good with Me…I like different…Wheel choice is always a personals choice and I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon…Stance is king and this Chevy Nomad sets right…The interior is custom and very fitting for this build…Looks like it has been in there since new…Under the hood is a GM Performance ram jet 350…Not exactly like a old school fulie….But a cool alternative for sure…This 1956 Chevrolet Nomad wagon from the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals is a very cool build for sure and I know you will love it…Check it out!!!
