1969 Ford Mustang “Unkl” Ring Brothers 2019 SEMA Show

Check out this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 I found at the 2019 SEMA Show…”Unkl”…Debuted by the Ring Brothers it is what we have come to expect from Mike and Jim Ring out of Wisconsin.. It’s the first time the Brothers have done a Mach 1 Ford Mustang…Several Fords and even a few Mustangs…But never a Mach 1….Race inspired and covered in a medium bright blue paint with flat black graphics…It has a track ready look for sure!! You can bet that it is just as comfortable on the street…Either way…This 1969 Ford Mustang from the 2019 SEMA Show was built to drive…Stance is king and this Ringbro’s Mach 1 sets like a 1969 Ford Mustang should…Low and wide…..Wheel choice is always a personal one and the wheels that this 1969 Mach 1 from the 2019 SEMA Show wears works really well for Me…The Ring Brothers carry the race theme into the custom interior with a comfortable looking seat choice and a very well laid out cockpit…I not only love the style of the interior…But the material choice also….Very cool for sure!!!…Under the custom hood you will find a working cold air intake feeding a naturally aspirated 520-cubic-inch (8.5-liter) Boss V8 700 HP Jon Kaase engine and some very fancy panel work…To say I am a fan of this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 built by the Ring Brother from the 2019 SEMA Show would be a understatement….Very cool build for sure…Check it out!!!

1956 Chevrolet Nomad Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors

In this video I stopped by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors and they were just finishing up a 1956 Chevrolet Nomad…The car is black and white…And finished to a very nice level…I don’t see many in this color combination and I’m not sure I remember Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors doing a black and white interior….Steve agreed they don’t do many…Eric Brockmeyer had done a rendering of the interior for this build and Steve added His touch with a few changes…It turned out very cool for sure and one that will be cool for a long time…Stance is king and this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad has the correct stance for this build… Aggressive but drivable…Under the hood is a all aluminum 496 big block Chevrolet and a very cool radiator support…It’s all very nicely finished under there but not a lot of panels covering things up…Just a BIG chunk of aluminum surrounded by some shinny smooth black paint…Very nice for sure! The 1956 Chevrolet Nomad is one of the coolest station wagons that has ever been produced by any manufacture…imho…And there is nothing that needs to be done to make them cool….This 1956 Chevrolet Nomad has had a lot done to it…But it all works…They didn’t lose any of the cool of a 56 Nomad…I’m sure your going to agree…I would drive this thing everyday if I had it…Check it out!!!

Scottie D's How To Videos

2019 SEMA Show “Our SEMA Struggle” Two Weeks Turned Into one Long Day

If your around the custom car and truck industry for any time at all you will have heard hot rod shops talk about the SEMA Struggle or the Detroit Crunch….These terms refer to time running out on a high profile project and the pressure felt by that…At the beginning of 2019 ScottieDTV announced it’s biggest project in it’s history….With the help of The Big Oak Garage and a bunch of others we were going to build a new chase vehicle for ScottieDTV….A 2005 GMC Yukon..We knew that it was going to be a challenge….But we thought we had the contacts to make it happen…Everything went fine until it came time to fire it up for it’s unveil in April of 2019 at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run as part of the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen….We were able to make it…But the truck was not running to it’s potential…We had plans to do several big events with it over the summer….We missed all those…When we first started the project we didn’t even consider that the plans we were making for The SEMA Show 2019 would be in jeopardy…..But two weeks before SEMA 2019 the ScottieDTV SSUV was still sick..And I was about to have to make some hard decisions…In this video…This is how the last two weeks went….To say it was a roller coaster would be a understatement….I won’t say anymore…Except this was My 2019 SEMA Show Struggle….I wouldn’t recommend to anyone….lol…One video note…I do a clip with Bradley Gray of The Blown Mafia in the cab of His Kenworth and I lose audio for a short time.. It does come back…Sorry was out of my control and not the worst thing that happen over that two weeks…😄😄😎…Check it out!!!

1968 Chevrolet C10 Street Truck Zycoat Booth 2019 SEMA Show

Check out this video I shot of a very cool 1968 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck that I found in the Zycoat Booth at the 2019 SEMA Show…The color of this truck is a shade of brown that would have been hard for Me to pull the trigger on….But I have to admit…I would have been wrong! This 1968 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck from the 2019 SEMA Show wears it well…The interior is all custom and very fitting for this build…It’s a darker brown than the truck with a bright orange stitch…Very cool…Wheels are always a personal choice but the ones they chose for this truck work really well in my opinion…They are color matched to match the truck and they left just enough chrome to make them pop!!…Under the hood is some General Motors power plant and some very nice panel work…They didn’t cover everything up..Just cleaned it up…This generation of Chevrolet C/10 pickup was cool from the factory and you really don’t have to do much to make them cool Hot Rods…This one has had a ton of work done to it…But they didn’t lose any of the cool of a 68 Chevy C/10…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too….Check it out!!!

1973 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine “The Rocket Camaro” The Big Oak Garage Rocket Racing Wheels

Check out this video of the 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine that The Big Oak Garage out of Hokes Bluff AL has built for Rocket Racing Wheels…The Big Oak Garage is known for building high end award winning show cars and trucks…This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is not one of those…The Rocket Camaro was built for Rocket Racing Wheels as a track car that could be driven on the street. A Car built to showcase the Rocket Racing Wheels product…But make no mistake this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine is no advertising stunt…It’s a real deal track car…That was built like a show car that needed to be able to be driven daily…In other words this Hot Rod needed to do it all and although it is just hitting the track and the streets…So far so good.. It turns heads on the streets and turns fast laps on the track…The rear quarters have been widened a couple of inches as well as the front fenders to make room for some very wide tires on all four corners…The Big Oak Garage sent the race seats in this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro to Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors so Steve and the boys could work their magic…The suspension has all been reworked and tied together make for a very stiff foundation for this all purpose Hot Rod…Everyone wants a car that will do everything from wear out a race track to pick up some grocery’s on the way home…I think The Big Oak Garage has hit the nail on the head with this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Street Machine they built for Rocket Racing Wheels…Check it out!!!

1970’s Chevrolet C19 Custom Camper Custom R/V “Brown Sugar” 2019 SEMA Show

Check out this video of a Custom Chevrolet Camper R/V from the 2019 SEMA Show…Brown Sugar…This Chevrolet truck started life as a 1970’s Chevrolet C19 R/V….A take Your Family to the Grand Canyon recreational vehicle…Nothing like it is now…Brown Sugar as it has been named is a all custom creation set up as the ultimate party bus….With overnight accommodations if You should need them….There is not much as it was from Chevrolet back in the day…Everything has been upgraded…Modernized…But still very 70’s cool….The back is mostly about the rustic party thyme and the inside of the cab is all custom and very cool….But also very 70’s….Funky cool!!…Wheels are always a personal choice but the wheels that this 1970’s Chevrolet custom camper R/V from the 2019 SEMA Show work for Me..And the color and finish they wear….Fit the rest of the build perfectly….The paint as You would expect of a custom truck named Brown Sugar…Is brown….A dark shade of brown with a ton a metal flake in it….Then the graphics are done in some very bright yellow to red stripes that just pop off this truck from the 2019 SEMA Show!!….This 1970’s Chevrolet RV Custom Camper Brown Sugar from the 2019 SEMA Show was one that everyone was talking about…I’m sure your going to dig it to…Check it out!!!

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle “Jared Cook’s 1970 Chevelle” Pro Touring 2019 SEMA Show

Check out this video of the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle…”Jared Cook’s Chevelle” from the 2019 SEMA Show…This is one good looking car…Back in the day the black and gold paint combo was very popular…But lately it seems to have lost favor…The way that Bryan Fuller layed the paint on this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is a more modern version of that color combo…There is some shinny and some satin paint…It’s flawless and very cool…The interior is all custom and very fitting for this build…A upgraded modern version of something that you could have ordered from Chevrolet back in 1970…Wheels are always a personal choice but the wheels that this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle from the 2019 SEMA Show work well for me and then they covered them in a gold finish that really makes them pop against that mile deep black paint….Under the custom hood is a LS2 and a lot of work cleaning everything up under there…This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle…Jared Cook’s 1970 Chevelle from the 2019 SEMA Show was built to drive and I have no doubt driving it would put a very BIG smile on your face…I can’t get you a ride…But I do have this video of it I shot at the 2019 SEMA Show…Check it out!!!
