At one time this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle was a given away at a Shades Of The Past Car Show
Then a few years back while it was at The Big Oak Garage getting some light damage fixed when another client happened to be in the shop checking on His other build and fell in love. Willie the new owner is not one to keep things the way that He found it so He had The Big Oak Garage make a few changes….The car was already a big block car but Willie wanted a more modern big block….It was a 4 speed…He had that upgraded to a 5 speed…Tires and wheels had to be changed to meet His taste….And He wanted a console for His Big Gulp cup and the remote to the stereo…..The day I found it, It was not only looking good…It was sounding like a beast…The car is close to what You would have ordered from the factory…No modifications have been made to the body….It’s had the things upgraded that didn’t change the cool of a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle only enhance it…I’m a fan of this generation of Chevrolet Chevelle and with The Big Oak Garage touch added to it..I’m sure You will to…Check it out!!

In this video I catch up with the 1967 Ford Econoline Falcon Club Wagon…VanSlam! at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show…This 1967 Ford Econoline Falcon Club Wagon is all custom..The paint is the first thing that will draw your attention…All different shades of green with some gold highlights mixed in there at just the right places..The paint on this 1967 Ford Econoline will blow your mind…The interior is all custom of course with a full blown 70’s look going on in a green cloth material….Just perfect for this build…And very cool for sure!! This 67 Ford Econoline lays on the ground…I’m a fan!…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone ..But they chose the exact wheel to fit the build of this 1967 Ford Econoline Falcon Club Wagon VanSlam from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show… imho I never was able to see the engine..But in My research I seen where at one time it had a LS in it….I have to assume that is still the case..It does have a 6 speed transmission though!! I really dig these custom Ford Econoline Falcon Club Wagons…And this one from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show is as cool as they come…Check it out!!!

In this video I checkout the 1970 Dodge Challenger..”HAVOC” at the 2019 SEMA Show. To say I am a BIG fan of this one would be a understatement…HAVOC the 1970 Dodge Challenger has not lost any of the cool of a 70 Challenger and refines that cool to a crazy level…The two tone grey paint looks like it is still wet…And that it is a mile deep…Then they used a bright lightly burnt orange kinda color that just sets it all off!!..All the windows are flush mount…The stance is perfect..It lays on the ground…The interior!?!?!…All custom of course but the perfect mixture of beauty and beast…Crazy cool!!..Wheels are always a personal choice but I really dig the ones this 1970 Dodge Challenger from the 2019 SEMA Show wears and they painted the hoop that orange color…Just a splash of color on a dark build..Perfect!…Under the custom hood some very nice custom work cleaning things up and shoehorning that 2500 HP Procharged 572 HEMI under there…In the video I say 1000 HP but there are several publications saying it is closer to 2500!?!…This 1970 Dodge Challenger HAVOC from the 2019 SEMA Show is one very cool build for sure….Check it out!!

Check out this video of the 1956 Oldsmobile 98 custom…OLDSSLED”…I was there when they unveiled it for the first time at the 2020 Detroit Autorama Detroit Mi…..Custom from one end to the other there are no panels or pieces untouched…Covered in a dark blue paint the owner tells Me they have named “Way past Midnight Blue”….A much darker version of midnight blue and this 1956 Oldsmobile from the 2020 Detroit Autorama wears it very well…And when You look closer you will see some ghost graphics that will dazzle the eye for sure…It has a removable custom top and no windows..So kinda of a roadster…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will make everyone happy but the custom one off replica starfire 3 blade spinner type they chose for this custom 1956 Oldsmobile work well for Me…The interior is all custom of course and works well with the rest of the build…Very elegant..,And the leather color really pops against the way past midnight blue paint it wears…Under the custom hood some very nice work and a 354 HEMI…..You knew when this car came off the trailer it was a serious competitor for the 2020 Great Eight and 2020 Ridler Award winner from the 2020 Detroit Autorama….It took home a 2020 Great Eight..Very cool build for sure…Check it out!!

Check out this video of the “The Ultimate 3100” ..A 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup truck I found at the 2019 SEMA Show….Covered in a late model Chevrolet Camaro blue it looked electric under the bright of lights of the Las Vegas Convention Center at the 2019 SEMA Show…These trucks were cool from the factory and they have only taken that cool to the next level on this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup …Laying on the ground…As they should…The stance is adjustable..The interior is all custom and covered in the perfect shade of leather….It just POPS! with the electric blue the rest of the truck is covered in…The bed wood is also the perfect shade to go with the interior and the rest of the build…Wheels are always a personal choice but I’m cool with the ones they chose to run on this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup from the 2019 SEMA Show …”The Ultimate 3100″…Under the hood a Crate supercharged LSA and some Concept One Pulley Systems pulleys on it …Plenty of go…And underneath….Custom chassis and all it takes to plant that power to the ground..A very cool truck and a very cool build for sure..Check it out!!

Check out this video I shot at the 2020 Atlantic City Auto Auction and Car Show of a 1970 VW Bug….”Volks Rod”..All custom the fenders have been removed…It’s been chopped…Covered in a bright orange and grey paint…With a tearing graphic separating the two…There is a big whole in the roof and some more very cool custom paint to top it off… Wheels are always a personal choice but the wheels they chose for this 1970 VW Bug from the 2020 Atlantic City Auto Auction and Cars Show work for Me…They fit the build…This 1970 VW Bug has a custom aftermarket interior.. That works well with the rest of the car….It’s on air so stance is adjustable…They had it laying on the ground at the 2020 Atlantic City Auto Auction and Car Show….Just the way I like them…The Engine has been all chromed out with some cool pinstripe to set it off…Lot of work has went into this 1970 Volkswagen Bug and it was all done at home…No pro shop build here..Home built…How cool is that!?!.I thought it was very cool and I am sure You will to..Check it out!!!

Check out this video of the 2020 Ridler Winner from the 2020 Detroit Autorama in Detroit Mi.. Walking up to this 1963 Chevrolet Wagon you would never guess that it is two less doors than what it started life with…You would be blown away by the mile deep black paint…And how straight it is….But if not for the picture in the display of when it was a 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door wagon…The Father and Sons team that built the car over the last several years tells me what making that change entailed…Spoiler alert…A ton of custom metal fabrication and years of custom work…Nothing is untouched on this 1963 Chevy 2 door wagon from the 2020 Detroit Autorama..They CNC’d a 1000 pound billet of aluminum to make a 40 pound grill…The interior is all custom of course an very fitting for the build…Wheels are always a personal choice and I have no problem with the one off custom ones they chose to run on this 1963 Chevy wagon from the 2020 Detroit Autorama…If You think there is a lot of work on the top of this one off build…Wait till You see the underside…It will blow Your mind…A custom 509 under the custom hood…They tell me the hood was one of the harder things to figure out on this one off custom Ridler Build….And knowing it has a electric gas cap that is hidden behind a taillight that is saying a lot…One very cool build for sure…Check it out!!!

Check out this video I shot at the 2020 Detroit Autorama of a 1969 Ford F100 that has been turned into a custom Ford Bronco..The builder tells me that over the past two years they have been working on “Lone Ranger” Bronco…They combined a 1969 Ford F100 with a 1972 Ford van with a ton of custom metal work they ended up with one very cool custom Bronco…The doors forward are 1969 Ford F100 the roof came from the 1972 Ford Van….And everything else is all custom metal fabrication….They had just finished it up two days before unavailing it at the 2020 Detroit Autorama…The interior is all custom distressed leather and works well with that tan paint that covers the all custom body….And as cool as it is on the top…The chassis and suspension will blow your mind…It rides on air so stance is what you want it to be…A Old school Ford 429 under the custom hood and some very nice work cleaning things up under there…A Ford in a Ford…As it should be…Wheels are always a personal choice but I really like the wheels they chose to run on this 1969 Ford F100 that has been converted into a custom Ford Bronco from the 2020 Detroit Autorama…One very cool build for sure…I’m sure You will dig it as much as I did…Check it out!!

Check out this video of a all custom 1980 Pontiac Firebird I found at the 2019 SEMA Show.. Now when I say all custom…I mean everything has been reworked…From front to back…I couldn’t find a lot of information on the build but there has been a lot of changes made to this 1980 Pontiac Firebird from the 2019 SEMA Show….Covered in white paint and trimmed in a bright green with some dark grey thrown in for good measure gives the car a very clean look…Wheels are always a personal choice but the lace pattern ones they chose work for Me….Stance is king and this 1980 Pontiac Firebird sets nice and with the custom ground effects it has a nice aggressive look…The custom interior is very street machine and works well with the rest of the build…It is a t-top car but the tops are not glass…They are body color giving it a hard top look but when You get close you see that it is not….Under the custom hood is a supercharged LT4 that should take care of the only problem with these Pontiac Firebirds from back in the day….The lack of power!!….Some will love it…Some may not…But everyone should want to check it out!!

Check out this video of the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino… “Relentless”.. I found it at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona Ca…Covered in a dark brown paint that looks black at times…Something different and it wears it well…The bed is covered in natural Redwood Burlwood that works really well with the rest of this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show…The owner tells Me they He just meant to buy this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino and flip it but before it was over they had a very nice Pro Touring 1970 Chevrolet El Camino….Wheels are always a personal choice but I’m good with the ones it wears…17 on the front and 18 on the rear…They didn’t tub the bed they wanted to keep that stock look….The chassis and suspension have all been upgraded with the latest and the greatest….There have been a few subtle body modifications made to this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show but they didn’t lose any of the cool from 1970…Cool build for sure…Check it out!!
