It’s no secret that California is known for its abundant car scene, so it just makes sense that the “grand daddy of them all” is held right there in Pomona. And on top of that, the coveted “America’s Most Beautiful Roadster” award is given away here as well! Needless to say, the 68th Annual Grand National Roadster Show, which makes it the longest running indoor show in the world, was everything it’s built up to be! Running from early Friday morning until Sunday evening, this eclectic show boasts vehicles of many styles and colors. Between seven themed buildings, you may find anything from tri-fives Chevrolets, to channeled Model A Fords, to bagged C10s, and everything in between!

8th Annual Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In

The scenic northeast corner of Georgia is the location of the small town of Hiawassee, which is home of the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. The mountains and rolling hills was the perfect place to be at the end of July 2016 for the 8th Annual Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In. The event drew in over 500 vehicles from across the country and set a new record for spectator turnout during the 2016 show.

lol…So here is another one…Not a bunch of body modifications Just cleaned up….No mirrors…But door handles…Supercharged LS3 under the hood….Again cleaner than stock….But not over done…..Interior….Bench seat….But a very cool bench seat…..A very clean build I think you will like….Check it out!!!

When we have the opportunity, the wife and I travel to automotive events taking our time to venture down the old state highways. Even on the occasional non-auto related trips we still like to run the roads least traveled. This past summer we took an extended trip out into the regions of Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and British Columbia where we traveled quite a few back roads and side streets. My head was on a swivel with my poor wife constantly asking what kind of car or truck I just saw. And let me tell you, if we had stopped every time I saw a cool old car, truck or old salvage yard, we would still be out west!
