Check out this 1970 Chevrolet Nova that Metal Brothers Hot Rods showed for the first time at the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Spring…This one of those builds that was built to drive I mean that’s what Metal Brothers Hot Rods does best..Build cool stuff that You can drive!!..Not a lot of body mods but the lines have all been made sharper and the gaps are much better than stock…Wheels are always a personal choice but I’m good with the ones this 1970 Chevrolet Nova from the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run wears…The owner tells Me that after doing the Power Tour in a late model Chevrolet Camaro and watching people walk by it to check out a classic car He knew what He had to do…Sell every other Hot Rod He had and build this 1970 Chevrolet Nova…I don’t think people will be walking by and not noticing this way cool 70 Nova…The interior is custom but not over the top and fits the build really well…There is a LS under the hood…Plenty of power…But again not over the top..Like I said this 1970 Chevrolet Nova from Metal Brothers Hot Rods was built to drive…I know You are going to love it…Check it out!!

Check out this 1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup I found at the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…The truck started as a $2300 investment in basically a cab and a title and is now a 1949 Chevy Pickup that is going to win a ton of awards and draw a lot of media attention I sure…When I first spotted this 1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup in the parking lot of the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run during load in day…I could tell it was a very nice build..The owner tells Me they wanted the old school look when it was driving down the road…But when they pulled this 1949 Chevrolet Pickup into a show…They could lay it on the ground….Open the hood…Show off the modern LS1 motor under the hood…Show what’s hidden under this unassuming custom mix blue exterior…Kinda of a sleeper…Very cool for sure…The interior is custom still very 1949….. A very nice mixture of modern upgrade and old school cool….Bench seat…Custom gauges…Light and a darker earth tone brown …It really works well for Me…Wheels are always a personal choice…But can you ever go wrong with some cool steelies!?!!…I argue..No!!..lol…This is one cool 1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup from the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…I’m sure you will love it as much as I do…Check it out!!

Check out this Pro Touring 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle that just finished getting a all leather custom interior out at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors…This generation Chevrolet Chevelle is my favorite and this one is done to a very nice level..Bright orange paint covers the body…Some may not like such a bright color…But it works for Me…It’s not a over the top custom or a high end show car…This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors was build to drive…A LSX 454 under the hood will but plenty of power to the rear wheels…The stance is set up to drive..But still has a nice low aggressive look…Wheels are always a personal choice but the one they chose work for this build…Steve and the boys out at Pro Auto custom Interiors killed the interior…It has a street machine aggressive look..But being that this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is going to see a lot of street time…One that is very comfortable looking and usable on a frequent basis.. This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors is a very nice build but one that wasn’t over done…One that will make you want to roll the windows down and listen to that LSX 454 pounding the ground as you cruise down the Highway..I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too…Check it out!!!

Check out this Street Rod I found at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals in Columbus Ohio…What is it??…It’s listed as a 1927 Ford Roadster….But that just identifies the body…What’s left of the body….Looks much smaller than stock…But this 1927 Ford Roadster is far from stock..First this you may notice is the rear mounted 1948 Buick engine.,,Bolted to a turbo 350 transmission..You may not notice that it is now front wheel drive..??..Or that it is rear wheel steer??…This “1927 Ford Roadster” from the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals is about as crazy of a thing that I have found….And that is saying a lot…I have found some pretty crazy stuff…I really can’t tell you all there is to know about this 1927 Ford Street Rod…But I can tell You it is cool… From the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals one crazy cool 1927 Ford Street Rod…This one will have ya talking…Check it out!!

The 1968 Plymouth Formula S Barracuda…”HEMI S” was debuted by Garret’s Rod Shop as part of the 2019 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen at the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…As a large part of Garret’s Rod Shop and the owner of this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda tells Me that the “HEMI S” has been a project of Garret’s Rod Shop owner for several years…One day while the Car owner had stopped by for a visit He noticed the car back in a corner of the shop and knew He had to take it to the finish…There are several body modifications made to this 1968 Plymouth Formula S Barracuda from the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run but except for the hood…Nothing really jumps out at you…The interior is red…All red… custom…And works well for me!!…Wheels are always a personal choice but I dig the ones they chose for the “HEMI S”….If there is a HEMI under the hood…And there is.. Then you have to have HEMI billboards on the rear fenders…The ones on this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda are custom and very cool…It sets on air ride so the stance is adjustable…But laying on the ground like it was as part of the 2019 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen is just how I like it…I posted a video when the world got their first look of this very cool custom 1968 Plymouth Formula S Barracuda Street machine “HEMI S” from the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…This is the feature video…A very cool HEMI Mopar for sure… Check it out!!!

Check out this 1972 Ford F100 Street Truck that debuted as part of the 2019 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen hosted by the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run.. F1K as it’s called was built by several shops that the owner chose to do the parts of the build that He could not do….John the owner tells how we had discussed the build of this 1972 Ford F100 Street Truck and weather it should be supercharged or twin turbo…In the end I wouldn’t give up on the fact that a twin turbo Coyote would be the way to go and a much cooler option..After final tune it should break 1000HP to the wheels….The interior was done by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors and fit this 1972 Ford F100 Street Truck build perfectly…Wheels are always a personal choice but the ones that John chose for this 1972 Ford F100 Street Truck from the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Ron work for Me….This Street Truck is custom from top to bottom…Custom chassis….Custom suspension…All upgraded to make sure all that power hits the street…The paint is another thing that John and I spent a lot of time picking out…It looks black…But when it get’s a little light on it…It’s dark blue…with a ton on flake in it…Just a awesome color…This is the unveil video from the 2019 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen part of the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run….There will be a feature video with a closer look at this truck to follow…Just like you were there the day the whole world got to see the 1972 Ford F100 Street Truck….F1K for the first time..Check it out!!!

In this video I Skype with Brandon from the Atlanta Motor Speedway about their upcoming event the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama presented by the Georgia Lottery….I attended this show for the first time in 2018…I have been talking about it ever since…The staff at the Atlanta Motor Speedway are some of the most gracious host you will find…As Brandon tells Me…Value for the dollar and having a good time is first on their list of prioritizes for the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama…Brandon gives Me a list of events activities for those attending this years show…He tells Me that there will be some of the coolest cars on the planet at the Atlanta Motor Speedway….But that’s not all… There will be Kids zone…Big Rigs…Campers and RV’s on display…A corn whole competition plenty of good food to eat…A chance to make laps around the Atlanta Motor Speedway and on Sunday…A monster truck show….Oh….Autocross!!..All weekend long included in your registration …There is more to do than there is time to do it…It’s going to be a great weekend..I have been telling everyone…This is the show you got to check out!!…Get all the last minuet details and make plans to meet me there!!

Check out this 1968 Plymouth Formula S Barracuda…The “HEMI S”..It was debuted by Garret’s Rod Shop as part of the 2019 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen hosted at the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod….I had met the Boy’s at Garret’s Rod Shop last year at the 2018 GoodGuy’s PPG Nationals with another Mopar they had out….So when it came time to put together the 2019 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen they were top of the invitation list….And when they offered to debut this 1968 Plymouth Formula S for Me…I was so stoked!!…There are several body mods made to this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda but they left all the cool that came from Plymouth in 1968…Two tone grey and silver with some red accents really set the look off…A modern version of the HEMI Billboards on the rear fenders was a feature that I thought was really cool ..The interior is red…all red….and it works for Me ..But might not for everyone…It’s very in your face….But really sets the body colors off..imho….It’s on air…So the stance is what ever you want..But laying on the floor like it was at the 2019 Pigeon Forge Rod Run works for Me…Wheel choice is always a personal one and the wheels they used fit the build perfectly to me….Of course it has a supercharged HEMI under a custom hood…Those rear fender billboards kinda give that away….lol..A very cool car…I’m sure you will love it as much as we did live when it was unveiled..There will be a more in depth feature video to follow this one…But to be there when the world see’s a high end custom for the first time is something that deserves to be featured…Hope you enjoy it….Thank You!!

Late 2018 Jimmy and Will Posey and Myself were cruising around the Pigeon Forge Rod Run when I pitched a hot rod SUV idea I had… I needed something bigger than the 2008 Mustang I have been using but I wanted something cool…and it had to be as custom as I could afford…I mean I wasn’t talking about the soccer taxi you see running around town…They thought it was a cool idea…and the ScottieDTV SSUV project was hatched….We pitched the idea to anyone we thought would be able to help us build the ultimate Hot Rod chaser…I’m very blessed and we were able to get help from several great companies…Without them…This would have never happened…It came from GM with the truck version of the LS6 a 6.0lt V-8 that RM Motor werks rebuilt it from the block up and added twin turbos….HP numbers to be determined….Stick around
Pro Auto Custom Interiors installed a completely custom interior using Moore & Giles leather…Sherwood Innovations carbon fiber kit for the interior trim…..Hushmat to keep it quite as a library inside…. Auto Custom Carpets supplied a completely new carpet kit that laid in like it was factory…Nate at IVS Wraps laid down some sick vinyl on the body…Daniel over at Maffett Motorwerks gave us a drawing of our vision so everyone could stay on the same page… Zycoat provided some of their thermal coating to keep the turbos cool..In this video Will from Big Oak Garage the shop that headed up this dream of mine…If it had to be done and no one else signed up to do it!?!..Big Oak Garage made it happen….I hope I have not forgot anyone…I’m so blessed to have the support that I do…Thanks so much to everyone that makes it happen…I will have a more in-depth feature on the ScottieDTV.com SSUV in the next couple of weeks…
