The National Street Rod Association has been coming to Knoxville TN for a long time and it’s a show I always look forward to attending. I live In Knoxville and this is the closest show to me…Sleep in My own bed and I know where all the good places to eat are…WIN!! WIN!! WIN!! lol . Although it’s called the National Street Rod Association…It’s not just Street Rods….The NSRA allows a rolling 30…Meaning as a year is 30 years from the current…You can now attend with vehicles from the year…Street Rods are still the main focus of the NSRA….But it’s cool that they keep adding years that can attend their events. As You will see in this video there was a little of something for everyone at the 2023 NSRA Street Rod Nationals South, Chevrolet, Ford Mopar, Buick, Plymouth, Pontiac cars and trucks…restored and custom…Cool cars and great weather…What more can You ask for!?!…Next year is the 50th anniversary of the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals South. In this video from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, I stop by just as they are finishing up the custom leather interior in this 1940 Ford Convertible HEMI Powered Street Rod. The body of this freshly built Street Rod is covered in a light creamy brown color with a black convertible top. Steve and the crew at Pro Auto Custom Interiors built the perfect dark brown leather interior for it,,,They used some light brown material inserts to give it a period correct look while letting You know that this is not a stock interior from 1940. Very cool and very fitting for this 1940 Ford Convertible HEMI Powered Street Rod. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really like the ones they chose to run on this 1940 Ford Convertible Street Rod…They give it a hot rod look without making it look to modern. There is no hood on this one yet, most of the cars and trucks Pro Auto Custom Interiors work on are not ready to hit the street when they leave, They need to go back and be finished and shook down…The nice thing about this one not having a hood is that You can see that Big ol’HEMI sticking out…Very cool for sure….This 1940 Ford Convertible Street Rod was built to drive so the suspension and brakes have been upgraded to handle the power of the HEMI under the hood…Steve and the crew out at Pro Auto Custom Interiors rocked another one with this 1940 Ford Convertible HEMI Powered Street Rod Custom Car…Check it out!!!!

I have one of the latest projects to come out of Nichol’s Paint and Fab, This 1935 Ford Street Truck….Street Slime 2.0. If You follow ScottieDTV or Nichols Paint and Fab you will remember the 1960 Chevrolet Pickup Truck Justin built a few years back….Street Slime! That one was built to race Pikes Peak and some Road Course type tracks….This was built to do burnouts and to just generally beat the snot out of. It’s covered in Nichols Paint and Fab Green with the Nichols logo on the door in black….There is not a lot of interior…But what is there, is what You will need to have some fun in this 1935 Ford Street Truck built by Nichols Paint and Fab from the 2023 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I like the bronze colored wheels they chose to run on this 1935 Ford Pickup. The power comes from a LS3. Suspension and brakes are all upgraded to handle the abuse this truck will be dealt! In this video from the 2023 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Custom Car Show held in Pigeon Forge TN, I have the Saturday Night Drive Out…The Pigeon Forge Rod Run Custom Car Show has been going on for over 40 years and is always one of the events I look forward to covering for ScottieDTV every year. Part of the show is held inside the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge TN, Part of it is out in the surrounding parking lots and some of it happens up on the main strip through Pigeon Forge TN. The cars and trucks that are inside the Leconte Center are some of the nicest that are registered for this event. There is something for everyone…Chevrolet, Ford, and MOPAR Products there is also Cars and Trucks, Custom and Restored. The Pigeon Forge Rod Run starts on Thursday and goes till Saturday afternoon. After awards and the drawing for like $10,000 in cash….They open the back door of the Leconte Center and let all that cool out the back door…I work hard to catch all of them I can ..It’s cool to get to check out all the cool Cars and Trucks when they’re setting still, It’s also cool to see them running and driving.. So that’s what is going on in this video…All the cool from inside the Leconte Center at the 2023 Pigeon Forge Rod Run driving out the backdoor…Hope You enjoy it…Check it out!!
