In this video I catch up with the Redd Foxx Lil’ Red Wrecker at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona CA..Keep in mind that I shot this video months before the Car Kings show aired so I didn’t have that information available…The Lil’ Redd Wrecker has quite the history…Originally built back in the day by two hot rod builders at some point George Barris got a hold of it and tried to tie it in with the Sanford and Son TV show but just as all this was happening they canceled the show…George still toured it as part of his car shows for a couple of years then it disappeared until Galpin Auto Sports found it and took it back to what it was in it’s prime!!..This all custom tow truck in covered in 30 layers of candy red paint….It’s so candy it will make your mouth water…Crushed blue velour interior just pops against that candy red paint…Old school gold leaf lettering and pin striping finish out the 70’s look…Then there is enough chrome to add just a touch more bling…Powered by a blown HEMI if you did need to tow something…It shouldn’t be a problem…The Redd Foxx Lil’ Redd Wrecker from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show is one very cool part of Custom car history..Check it out!!!

In this video I check out the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Carbonified from the 2020 Detroit Autorama in Detroit MI…When this car hit the the floor the first thing I noticed was the carbon fiber roof…Now being a fan of carbon fiber I thought that was really cool….But when I found out that the roof was removable to make this car a roadster…My mind was blown…Covered in a dark blue paint and trimmed in kinda of a gold..bronze shade the whole car has a unique look about it…A look that took just a second to settle in and then I really liked it…The custom interior is a coffee color and matches the rest of the build well in my opinion…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone..The ones they chose to run on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air from the 2020 Detroit Autorama work well for me…Than they are custom color matched to the rest of the trim…Very nice touch in my opinion…The under side of the car is just as nice as the top and the suspension and chassis have all been upgrade to the latest technology…..This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Carbonified from the 2020 Detroit Autorama didn’t win the Ridler or even a Great 8 but don’t be fooled…It’s a very cool car…Check it out!!

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible…This car has about every cool factor going for it as possible. First it’s covered in mile deep black paint…It’s hard to keep clean…But when it is…There is not a better color IMHO…,It’s a convertible….Now I usually like the hardtops better than the rag tops….But this 66 Galaxie now has a Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors handmade convertible top and that makes all the difference in the world…Not only do they use the same material as the new corvette it is also a custom install that is second to none and it now has a real glass rear window…No more yellow plastic..Then of course Steve and the Boys at Pro Auto Custom Interiors rocked the all custom leather interior…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone..I think the wheels they chose to use on this 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors work really well…Then they threw in some redline tires to finish out the look..Under the hood there is a small Block Ford…Ford in a Ford is always cool and the way to go…The suspension has all been updated and is new…This 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors is not a over the top custom or a aggressive Street Machine…But it is a very cool cruiser and I think you will love it…Check it out!!!

In this video I found one of the craziest C6 Chevrolet Corvettes I have ever seen at the 2019 SEMA Show Las Vegas NV….From the research I have done preparing for this video…This a a kit that can be purchased and installed on any C6 Corvette…This one is covered in a grey shade of paint that it wears well…From what I can tell most the panels of a stock Chevrolet Corvette have been modified or removed..This is a very aggressive body kit to say the least…It’s what creators call their version of the ultimate supercar….It is different….Kits start at around $30,000 and go up from there…Although it is a body kit…It can’t be installed at your shop…You must send the donor C6 Chevrolet Corvette to their shop for what they are calling a rough install…You will still need to take it to a shop and have the final details and finish applied…The SEMA Show is a event that always brings out the craziest of builds. Some so crazy you can even tell what it is…This C6 Corvette is on the verge of the later…You still see the Chevrolet Corvette….But it’s easy to lose at certain angles…So people will love it….Some people will hate it I’m sure….Everyone will want to see it…Check it out!!

In this video I check out the 1927 Ford Roadster “Ivy-Reed” from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show Pomona Ca…The Grand National Roadster is one of the oldest custom car shows in the United States and as it’s name suggest….It’s all about the roadster at this event…There are other awards given out but the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award is the one everyone comes to see and few try to win…This 1927 Ford Roadster with a ton of custom features including a track nose front end didn’t win the 2020 America’s Most Beautiful Roadster award at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show….But it was a strong contender and a lot of peoples favorite…Covered in a greenish grey Porsche color from back in the 50’s, it’s a different color…Although one that this roadster wears well…You will see Ivy-Reed the 1927 Ford Roadster has several Porsche influences….This 27 Ford has a all custom interior with matching trunk…Not a lot of room to work with but a very good use of space and a very cool interior…Steel wheels and hubcaps finish the period correct look of this 1927 Ford Roadster Ivy-Reed from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show…A very clean look that fits the build well in my opinion….This 1927 Ford Roadster Ivy-Reed may have not won the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show…But it could have…Very cool build for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video I stopped by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up My buddy John’s 1970 Ford Torino Fastback…”All In”…This is the second time I have featured this Ford Torino on ScottieDTV….The first time was several years ago at a Corvette Expo show…In a building full of really nice Chevrolet products…It was the lone Ford that really caught My eye….Covered in mile deep black paint this 1970 Ford Torino had a compete custom interior in it when it showed up to Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors….A couple of years after I met John I started working on getting Him to take this car to Steve and the Boys and take it to the next level…Although the car was complete and cool I just felt it would be that much better after Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors worked their magic….As You will see..They rocked another all custom leather interior in this 1970 Ford Torino Fastback….Under the custom hood is a John Cossey 572 Boss 9 with a stacked injection putting out 750HP and 700PDTQ..Wheels are always a personal choice and the ones John chose for this 1970 Ford Torino give the car a little bling on a blacked out 70 Torino.. This 1970 Ford Torino Fastback “All In” from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors is a very cool car for sure…It’s sure to make You smile…Check it out!!!

In this video I found a 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck at the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas NV..
This 3100 Chevrolet pickup is custom… But not over the top custom…There have been changes made to it..But none of the cool that came in 1957 was lost…Covered in baby blue paint…Not a color you see on a custom trucks everyday…But this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 from the 2019 SEMA Show wears it well..The color in it self draws attention to this custom pickup…But you will soon notice that the cool is in the details in this one…It still wears all the factory trim…The mirrors…. Door handles…Nothing has been shaved…But things like the bumpers are now carbon fiber…Classic cool with a touch of modern aggressiveness…Very cool!…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone..But I really dig the ones they chose for this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck from the 2019 SEMA Show…They have nice center design with a carbon fiber hoop….They fit this build well…This 57 Chevy pickup has a great stance…Laying on the ground as it should be..I’m not sure of the power plant under the hood of this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup from the 2019 SEMA….LS I wound guess…But the install….Very clean….Under the hood of this truck fits the rest of the build in that the cool is in the details…This custom 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck from the 2019 SEMA Show was one that made me smile and I am sure it will do the same for you…Check it out!!!

In this video I check out the custom rod built in the 1960’s…”The Bathtub”…From the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona Ca…The Bathtub custom rod is what was happening back in the late 60’s…The crazier….The Better..George Barris promotions showed the car back in the day and then it fell off the face of the earth….Until it was rediscovered a few years ago and brought back to it’s new build glory then it was debuted at the 2019 Mooneyes show in Japan… When I caught up with The Bathtub Custom Rod at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show it was part of the Galpin Auto Sports display….As you will see this twin supercharged HEMI hot rod has more than just two bathtubs….You drive it setting on a toilet..There are a couple of shower heads for headrest in the bathtubs…Crazy plumbing running everywhere..Talk about imagination run wild..That’s what has happened here…Piratical it is not…But cool it is…And it is always cool to check out custom hot rod history and when one goes away and then makes it all the way back to it’s heyday glory like The Bathtub Custom Rod from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show…Well I can only count my blessings to be there with a camera to capture it for all time…I think this one is going to make You smile like it did me…The Bathtub Custom Rod from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show.. In this video I found a very cool 1963 Ford Falcon from the 2020 Joker’s Wild Car Show that is part of the Atlantic City Auction & Car Show held at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City New Jersey….Done in the gasser style of drag car from back in the 60’s this 1963 Ford Falcon is done to a very nice level…Covered in a medium metallic blue paint that it wears well…It still has most if not all of the factory trim and that has been redone to a very nice level… Suspension is all set up in the traditional gasser style and again finished to a very nice level….The interior has been redone but looks to be a lot like it would have been from Ford back in 1963…Very nice and very fitting for this build…There is a whole in the hood where the 8 intake stacks from the Ford in a Ford 427 small block V8 come through…Cleaned up and finished very nicely…The Atlantic City Auction & Car Show has been going on for over 47 years…The Joker’s Wild Car Show was one of two new shows that were added this year to make it a even bigger indoor auto event…If you have never been..Check out what Your missing…If You know all about it I’m sure You will want to see this 1963 Ford Falcon Gasser from the 2020 Joker’s Wild Car Show from the Showboat Hotel again..Either way…Check it out!!!
