In this video from the 2024 Goodguys Rod and Custom Association Columbus OH event I have the very cool 1959 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Impala built by Steve Cook Creations. This 59 Impala is covered in a greenish grey color with most if not all the factory chrome still in place…The interior is very cool and very custom, It’s also covered in a orangish color leather that gives this 1959 Chevrolet Impala a unique look, the interior color pops against the greenish grey color of the rest of the car…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really like the one off custom that Steve Cook Creations had made for this 1959 Chevrolet Impala…Under the hood is a cleanly installed LS3 with a supercharger and valve covers to make it resemble a old school 490 Big Block car. In this video from the 2024 ‪@GoodGuyRodandCustom‬ Columbus event, I have the never made by Chevrolet, 1979 Chevrolet Crew Chief 3+3 Short Bed Street Truck that was built by Rutterz Rodz. The owner of the this very cool 1979 Chevy Crew Cab tells Me that, He learned to drive in a truck like this and that as a family they have always wanted to build a custom quad cab with a short bed. In 1979 if You wanted a quad cab truck…it was going to be a long bed…It wasn’t until we started using trucks as cars did the idea ever cross the manufactures mind that a short bed truck might be a good idea.This 1979 Chevrolet Crew Chief 3+3 looks like something that could have come from GM back in the day…But there are a lot of custom touches. It a very cool shade of blue with a silver insert, The interior has this crazy orange plaid that just sets the whole build off! Wheels and tires are the perfect choice for this build in my opinion. Under the hood is a cleanly installed LS3 yet still not over done, a clean factory look is how I would describe it! The underside is just and nice as the top! In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1970 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Chevelle SS built by ‪@detroitspeed‬. At the beginning of the video the car still hadn’t even been completed yet. I was able to catch up with it at the 2024 ‪@GoodGuyRodandCustom‬ Columbus event. This Detroit Speed built 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is covered in a dark green metallic with black rally strips, a color combination that it wears well! Steve and the boys out at Pro Auot Custom Interiors, custom built a Eric Brockmeyer designed custom leather interior. They chose a dark colored leather with a light stitch…added some accent lighting to give it a modern look without losing the cool of the 70 Chevelle. This 1970 Chevelle SS is a real deal Big Block SS car, although it’s a much bigger BIG block Now! A very cleanly installed 555 CI version making tons of power. As You would expect the suspension is all finished to the same high level as the rest of the car…And of course it has all the latest from Detroit Speed including their branded ‪@BaerBrakesVideo‬ brakes. ..The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Big Block is a iconic muscle car of the 70’s and this one from the 2024 Goodguys Rod and Custom Columbus OH event built by Detroit Speed with a custom leather interior by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors didn’t loose any of that Muscle Car cool…Check it out!!!
