In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY, I check out the 1970 XP895 Concept Corvette…The Reynolds Aluminum Car….One of the only Chevrolet Corvette that was not made of Fiberglass…It was Mid Engine though…Visiting the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY You will see that Zora pursued the Mid Engine Design for the Corvette the whole time He was at Chevrolet. There are several examples of the different designs that were considered and in this video I take a quick but close look at the 1970 XP9895 Concept. When You look at this car You can see parts of it that made it to production later in time…The wheels look like the wheels available around 1973…The silver leather they used for the interior looks like the leather I had in My 10th Anniversary Trans Am…The Engine was a experimental V8…Automotive History is always cool to see and the National Corvette Museum does a very nice job of making it interesting and fun..If You have never been to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY it’s a bucket list visit for sure..I shot several feature videos on My visit..I hope You enjoy this one and will check out some of the rest Thanks in advance…The 1970 XP895 Concept Chevrolet Corvette from the National Corvette Museum…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals held in Louisville KY I catch up with this 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible “Diablo Gato” for the second time. I first found the car at the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham AL when it was unveiled but wasn’t able to get a very good video of it at that time..There was a large crowd around it most of the night…At the 2021 National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals Louisville I was able to get some much cleaner video…It’s a triple black car..Body, Interior and convertible top all black…The body is straight as arrow and a mile deep, very nice!…I believe the interior is custom and it has a high end factory look to it…Very fitting for the build…Wheels are a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really like the ones they chose to run on this 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals. Under the hood is a nicely installed 351 Cleveland that has been stroked to 414….Nothing crazy..But enough to get you where you’re going…The suspension and brakes have been upgraded to make sure it stops and turns as well as it looks..This 1973 Mercury Cougar from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals is a very clean car for sure…Not many done this nice…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1958 Chevrolet Apache Pickup…Street Truck..Track Ready Truck..This 1958 Chevrolet Apache really is all that…It started as a Truck and a 1000 Horsepower Engine and no real idea on where to go from there, It soon found it’s direction and has become a streetable race truck and it’s finished to a very nice level, a level that builds like this are rarely finished to. It’s covered in a bright white paint and trimmed in a graphite Grey…The body is pretty much 1958 Chevy Apache…Modern headlights and a couple of exhaust ports in the hood the only two obvious changes that most will notice…lol….The exhaust ports in the hood tip you to the fact it’s a twin turbo..That’s always cool in My book…The chassis is all custom and can be seen through the bed floor..Again I’m a fan of this styling touch…It lays on the ground, But can be set up to handle the curves with a few tools….Wheels are always a personal choice and no set will please everyone.. I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1958 Chevrolet Apache from the 2021 SEMA Show. And they have it set up to carry a couple extra rear tires…Those will be nice to have when you burn the first set off…This 1958 Chevrolet Apache also has jacks that come from the bottom of the truck to lift it up like a F1 Car for when those tires need to be replaced…This 1958 Chevrolet Apache Street Truck..Track Ready Truck from the 2021 SEMA Show is way cool for sure..Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV I catch up with this over the top. Totally crazy custom 1965 Chevrolet C/10 Pickup Truck…”C10 Slayer”. This 65 Chevy C/10 is Street Truck to 11!!..It’s covered in satin black with the only other color is the red of the custom wheels . Now no one set of wheels will please everyone ..I really dig the 6 that they used on this 1965 Chevrolet C/10 from the 2021 SEMA Show…That’s right…Six wheels!!…Two on the front…and four more out back! This 1965 Chevrolet C/10 has a tandem rear axel….I don’t mean a dually…Even though it has that also…This 65 C/10 has two rear axels?!?!…I don’t remember seeing one done this way…Very cool!!..The front of this custom pickup is widebody…The bed is…Well…Something You will have to see to believe….It’s also widebody…But part of the bed is gone and the others parts are attached to the custom chassis…!?!?!..WOW!! The Interior is all custom and just as aggressive as the rest of this 1965 Chevrolet C/10 from the 2021 SEMA Show….8 stacks connected to a supercharged LSX under the all custom widebody hood! This 1965 Chevrolet C/10 is custom from the front to the back..Way to much to list in this description.. Way cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors I arrive just as they are finishing up this 1955 Chevrolet Custom Hot Rod. This 55 Chevy is two tone paint…A medium Grey over a medium candy Red….A classic cool combination that should be cool for a long time…Steve and the crew at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors used a color matched Marron and Grey leather to cover the completely custom interior…Very cool for sure and very fitting for this build. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, I think the wheels they chose to run on this 1955 Chevrolet Custom Hot Rod work well with the rest of the build. Under the hood is a cleanly installing LS3 giving this 55 Chevy a lot more power than it would have from the factory back in the day…Suspension and brakes have all been upgraded to the latest technology to make sure that LS3 power makes it to the ground and that it will stop when You need it to. The 1955 Chevrolet is a iconic American Hot Rod and this one should be cool for ever…Check it out!!

In this video from The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY I check out the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth exhibit. This exhibit was there for a few months and I was blessed enough to catch it in the last week it was there. Ed “Big Daddy” Roth was known as a custom car designer from back in the 60’s but what I found out was the Ed was a artist and used the Automobile as His canvas. The Beatnik Bandit that is featured in this video is one of His works of art. The Beatnik Bandit uses some commercially made parts but most of it is from the mind of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and created with His hands…When You go to a large indoor Custom Car Show today and see all those crazy builds…Some where inspired by builds like the Beatnik Bandit. Capturing Custom Car History like this Ed “Big Daddy” Roth display from the National Corvette Museum is just one of the many cool things I get to do with ScottieDTV…Hope You enjoy it…Check it out!!

In this video from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals held in Louisville KY I catch up with this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. It’s covered in a very cool medium blue paint and trimmed in chrome with some red accents…Perfect!..The custom leather interior is white and body color….The blue gives the classic cool white interior a modern touch…The stance is nailed and the red accents on the hub caps with the white wall tires really works well…No one set of wheels will please everyone, I think they did a good job of giving this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 a Hot Rod look with a old school wheels…Very cool for sure! I was unable to find out what powers this way cool pickup but whoever did the install and fabrication work did a very nice job. The truck looks like it was built to drive so the brakes and suspension have all been upgraded it wasn’t over done under there. This 1952 Chevrolet 3100 pickup up from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals Louisville will always be cool….Check it out!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV I catch up with this 1949 Ford body that has been been placed on a BMW 335I chassis…That’s right…It’s a 1949 Ford on the outside and BMW 335I everywhere else…The builders tell Me it feels like you’re driving a widebody BMW…The concept came from wanting to do something different with something that they loved….Old Fords and BMW. The body is still in bare metal…No paint…This 1949 Ford from the 2021 SEMA Show is not that kind of Hot Rod….The interior is partly BMW 335I and custom Hot Rod….Covered in Red Cloth…Fits the build well. The Wheels are custom Truck Wheels that give it a very aggressive look…Body mods are many, it has been chopped….Shortened seven inches…The Body of the BMW 335 was cut off and the 1949 Ford Body was set on to that platform…So the amount of fabrication work was great…Under the hood is the inline turbo six from the BMW 335I…But keep in mind this in not a motor swap…It’s a body swap…A body swap I don’t think anyone else has tried…Very cool for sure..Check it out!!!
