1985 Chevrolet C10 Street Truck “Jenny” 2022 Goodguys Giveaway Truck 2022 World Of Wheels Birmingham

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham AL, I catch up with the 2022 Goodguys Rod And Custom Association giveaway truck…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 named “Jenny” was built by Goolsby Custom to be given away at the 2022 Columbus Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Summit Racing Nationals presented by PPG…It’s two tone blue and white…Both colors available back in the 80’s, separated by a custom mix orange stripe…Very clean…Nothing crazy…But a cool, clean look…The interior is custom but has the look of something that you could have ordered from the factory back in 1985…Much cleaner and cooler…But it still has a OEM look…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I think that Goolsby nailed the stance and wheels choice…The only air on this one is in the cab…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck is on coilovers and this in where it rides…Under the hood is a cleanly installed LT1…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 sets on a aftermarket chassis with all the latest and greatest parts to give it the ride of a sports car. Jonathan tells Me He built this truck like He has always wanted one but hasn’t had the time to build for himself….I would love to win it…Maybe you can!?!? The 1985 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck 2022 Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Giveaway Truck from the 2022 World Of Wheels Birmingham AL…Check it out!!!

Dual Engine Custom Hot Rod “Mysterion” Ed “Big Daddy” Roth Display National Corvette Museum

In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY, I check out Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s Dual Engine Custom Hot Rod that was displayed there…Mysterion was part of a exhibit that the National Corvette Museum had highlighting some of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s builds along with some other items that where part of Ed Roth’s Custom Car building career…This is not the original Mysterion that was built by Ed..But it includes some original parts from the car Ed built…See back in the day Ed built these crazy creations so that Revell could make models and He could use them on the t-shirts that He painted…After they has been out awhile and people had seen them…They would tear the cars apart and build something new with the parts…Unlike today when high end custom cars are built…Shown and driven…Most of the custom cars from back in the day where not road worthy.. They didn’t have to be…They were strictly show cars…I love custom cars and trucks, and to be able to capture custom car history is so cool and such a honor for me…I hope you enjoy this video of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s Mysterion from the National Corvette Museum…Check it out!!!

Scottie D's How To Videos

1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Roadster Custom Hot Rod Street Truck 2021 SEMA Show Las Vegas

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I caught up with this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Roadster….It’s covered in bright red paint and left with just the right amount of chrome IMHO.. This Custom Hot Rod Street Truck is a full on roadster…Sunny days only!..The interior is a tan leather custom interior that has removed all the seats except the passengers and driver seat…The rear of the truck has been taken over by a carpet covered flat floor that hides the stereo equipment…At least that is my guess what’s under there…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really dig the style and finish of the ones they chose to run on this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer from the 2021 SEMA Show…I wasn’t able to catch this custom truck with the hood open so I am not sure what powers it…The stance is adjustable through what I am guessing is a air system..It was always laying on the ground so I wasn’t able to see the underside but I would think it has all been upgraded to match the rest of the build of this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Roadster…I’m a BIG fan of Hot Rod Suv’s and this one from the 2021 SEMA Show is way cool for sure Check it out!!

1957 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon Hot Rod 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show Birmingham

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show held in Birmingham AL I catch up with this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon…It’s covered in a pewter color paint, trimmed in chrome and carbon fiber..A combination that works well for me..The interior is a all custom leather interior built by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, Steve and the Boys nailed it as usual…It’s not over done…But it does keep with with the rest of the build…Lipstick red and carbon fiber works well with the pewter color of the body…Under the hood is a LS2 with a custom intake…A little more chrome and carbon fiber…All very nicely installed…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone….The first set Noniel chose won some awards…But these that He just added should work well for everyone…They work for Me..It’s a chassis car…brakes and suspension are upgraded to the latest technology so it should ride and drive like a late model car…Took Noniel seven years to finish this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show..I think it was time well spent…Check it out!!!

Chevrolet Corvette C5 “GT SSC” Rear Mounted Dual Engine Super Super Car 2021 SEMA Show Las Vegas

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV I found what I believe is a C5 Chevrolet Corvette.. The “GT SSC” Dual Engine Super Super Car…At least that’s what I think it started as…When I first laid eyes on this custom exotic sports car…I mean..It’s a widebody….Something??…But I had no idea what I was really looking at…And it sounded different…It was The SEMA Show and there is always crazy stuff that shows up..So no idea…Upon closer inspection I still didn’t know what this custom Chevrolet Corvette was hiding…Obviously totally custom…And it seemed if I closed one eye..I could see a Corvette??…But then I walked by when the rear hatch was open….I could not believe what I was seeing…TWO LT4 setting next to each other!?!? That explains why it was so wide…Then it dawned on Me…These two LT4 where at the wrong end of the car!?!?!…CRAZY!?!?…The interior is still C5 Chevrolet Corvette…The roof….Still, Chevrolet Corvette… But the rest from front to back…Custom…One of a kind for sure…Like it or not…It is interesting!! Check it out!!

1947 Ford COE Street Truck Hot Rod Truck 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals Louisville KY

In this video from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals held in Louisville KY I catch up with this 1947 Ford COE Street Truck Hot Rod Truck…I really dig these COE trucks from back in the day and they lend themselves well to being customized and Hot Rodded..This one has had the engine moved to behind the cab back into the bed..It’s now more mid engine…Very cool for sure and done like it could have come that way…This 1947 Ford COE from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals is covered in black paint with just a few touches of chrome, silver and if You look real close some ghost flames. The custom interior is covered in a grey leather with some flame accents…No one set of wheels will please everyone..I dig both the stance and the wheel choice used on this 1947 Ford COE Hot Rod Truck…Under the custom tilt bed is a Ford powerplant although I don’t know for sure what one. Chassis is custom and the suspension and brakes have all been upgraded to make sure it drives as well as it looks…I’m a BIG fan of the Old School COE Trucks and this 1947 FORD COE from the 2021 National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals is a very cool example…Check it out!!!

1968 Plymouth Roadrunner “NeverMore” Street Machine 2022 World Of Wheels Birmingham AL

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham AL I catch up with this 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner Street Machine…”Nevermore”!!..Covered in Voodoo Violet paint that goes from black to a vibrant purple depending how the light hits it….This 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner wears it well.. The interior is all custom…It’s covered in a distress brown leather and is just as aggressive as the outside. The body has been modified from the front to the back…The list to long to put in this description..But none of the cool of the 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner is gone…Under the hood is the numbers matching 383 that is now a 496 high compression roller putting out plenty of horsepower to get this 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner down the road…A ton of custom panel work finishes it out. The underside of this 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner from the 2022 World Of Wheels is just as nice as the top…The suspension and breaks are all modern technology so that straight line or curvy road…It’s ready for either!…I think You’re going to dig this 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner from the 2022 World Of Wheels Birmingham..Check it out!!!

1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup Truck “Dream Catcher” Kindig It Design 2021 SEMA Show Las Vegas NV

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV I catch up with this 1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup Truck built by Kindig It Design…It’s covered in a medium maroon paint color called bad blood…Even the paint color has a cool name on this 1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup Truck…This truck is just beautiful…That paint is deep and just the perfect shade to give it this classy cool look!…The interior is a Oyster white custom leather interior that has a ton of Dave Kindig Design touches that make it perfect for the build ..With a classy cool look about it that the rest of the truck also displays..Wheels are a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really love the color and the style of the ones they chose to run on this 1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup Truck from the 2021 SEMA Show….Under the custom hood things go a little off the rails with a cleanly installed LSX 454 Chevrolet….And some stacked injection..If that eases the blow any…lol…It’s still a cool truck…But a Ford in a Ford is how I like them…The underside of this truck is just as nice as the rest and it is all the best available to make sure this 1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup Truck from the 2021 SEMA Show handles and stops as good as it looks…One way cool 1951 Ford F1 Hot Rod Pickup from Kindig It Design…Check it out!!!

1970 Dodge Coronet Twin Turbo HEMI Street Machine Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they are finishing up this 1970 Dodge Coronet Twin Turbo HEMI Street Machine…It’s blacked out and the black paint is deep…There has been some fabrication work done to the body..Nothing that takes away from the cool of a 1970 Dodge Coronet..Just adds some aggressiveness to it!!..It all works well for Me. The custom interior that Pro Auto Custom Interiors built is covered in black leather and very fitting for this build. They removed the backseat and now have hidden storage where the seat bottoms used to be and hidden stereo equipment where the seat back would be…No one uses the backseat in a build like this and now that it is a two seater…It’s just You and Your Girl cruising around…No annoying third wheel. Speaking of wheels..No one set will please everyone…I dig the ones they chose to run on this 1970 Dodge Coronet…The stance is nailed also!..Under the hood is a Twin Turbo 5.7 HEMI…You can never go wrong with a setup like that…Very cool for sure…The underside of the car is just as nice as the top and set up to drive….One very cool 1970 Dodge Coronet Twin Turbo Street Machine from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors…Check it out!!!
