In this video from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN, I catch the cool that was displayed in the building…Drive out the back door….There are two Pigeon Forge Rod Runs a year, One in the Spring and one in the Fall…The 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Spring was a successful show for sure with all kinds of cool…Cars…Trucks….Customs and some that had been restored to nicer than new. The ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen was in the house…For the past several years I have hand picked 12 cars or trucks that I have shot for the ScottieDTV Web Channel and invite them to be displayed in the front row of the La Conte Center at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run….There are more cool cars and trucks on display than just the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen and this video includes all of the ones I could catch driving out.. In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I catch up with this 2007 Dodge Magnum 2 Door Wagon…”MOPAR Express”….What a cool Hot Rod!!…It’s covered in a tangerine color paint that was love at first sight for Me…Dodge Magnum Wagons are 4 doors when they leave the factory…This one has been converted to a two door….The side windows have been filled so it has a panel truck look about it…The interior is a mix of custom and stock…It’s a true pro street with a full cage and everything else has a purpose…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I like the modern touch old school style they chose to run on this 2007 Dodge Magnum Wagon from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…There is a whole in the hood to make room for the blown 572 Gen III HEMI that powers this street monster…The chassis is custom tube chassis with all the goodies to match. This 2007 Dodge Magnum 2 Door Wagon, MOPAR Express from the 2022 Detroit Autorama is a lot more work than it looks at first glance…And all the work is done to a very nice level…A car that can run a number and win a car show is always cool in my book…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too… Check it out!!!

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air that is done in a Pro Touring style. This 57 Chevy is covered in deep black paint and trimmed with the original chrome trim, a clean cool look for sure. The custom leather interior is tan and a lighter tan color that Steve and the boys knocked it out of the park…They built and designed the perfect interior for this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air! Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, the ones they chose to run on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air work for me. Under the hood a modern LS that in cleanly installed and I am sure will deliver enough power to get this hot rod down the road. The suspension, brakes and chassis have all been upgraded to modern technology, So it should handle and ride like a new car…There are more tri five Chevrolets on the planet now, then ever before and there is a reason that people are still building new ones…They are cool cars…This one will not disappoint…Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2021 Auburn Americana Car show and Auto Auction, I check the “for sale” side of the show…As You will see in this video there was something for everyone. There were Hot Rods and Luxury Cars…Classic and Vintage…To some late model stuff…Chevrolet, Ford and Mopar..And trucks to….But it wasn’t just American cool…There were imports there also! The 2021 Auburn Americana Car Show and Auto Auction was held in conjunction with the 2021 Auburn Cord and Duesenberg Festival that has been held on Labor Day Weekend for many years….This is a new event and the I think that it has a bright future…You can go to a car show in Your daily and leave the show in a new Hot Rod, How cool is that?!?! The Auburn Indiana is a nice part of the country..The people are not only very good host…They are crazy about cars and trucks…If you have never been to the Auburn American Car Show and Auto Auction, It’s sure worth checking it out…I had a great time and hope to get invited back…In this video I’m just roaming around checking out what was for sale.. In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible…I missed shooting this car while it was at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, So I was happy to see it setting in the central hall at the 2021 SEMA Show. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is covered in a bright red paint with some black stripes, a touch of brushed aluminum and trimmed in black…As mentioned it has a all leather custom interior with some red accents that Steve and the Boys at Pro Auto Custom Interiors nailed…A modern look that fits the build perfectly. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible from the 2021 SEMA Show. I got just a quick glance at the underside and it look like it has all been upgraded to the latest technology and finished to a high level…I never could catch it with the hood open so I am not sure what powers it…One very cool car for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I catch up with the 2022 Don Ridler Award winner the 1931 Chevrolet “SHO Bird”. When this car came out of the trailer You knew it was a Ridler contender.. If not a obvious Great 8 winner…It’s covered in a candy wineberry paint and trimmed in Orange glow paint, With several shades of both colors used to blend them together. The interior is as custom as the rest of the car with body colors used throughout…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The ones that Pro comp Customs chose work well for Me. The whole car from front to back…Top to bottom is custom….It’s powered by a Twin Turbo 509 Big Block and they mounted the 72mm Turbos out front…Like where the bumper would be!?!?!…I have never seen anything close to this 1931 Chevrolet Independence Coupe from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…The amount of detail is just crazy…The underside is just as crazy and just as custom as the rest of the car. Bruce tells Me that they have over 20,000 hours in building this work of art…I’m a fan for sure and I am sure You will be to…The 1931 Chevrolet Independence Coupe “SHO Bird” , The 2022 Don Ridler Award winner from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…Check it out!!!

In this video from the National Corvette Museum located in Blowing Green KY, I check out the 1965 XP-819 Chevrolet Corvette Prototype…Known as the Ugly Duckling….Zora’s first impression!! This was My first visit to the National Corvette Museum, I grew up in a Chevrolet house with the Corvette being the best of the best…My Dad had several and even bought a 1974 new that He kept around 20 years. So even though I had never visited the National Corvette Museum…I had driven past it several times and had always wanted to check it out..One of the things that surprised Me was that Zora Arkus-Duntov was all about the Mid Engine Chevrolet Corvette…From the day He was hired at General Motors…He knew that mounting the engine mid platform was the best setup for a sports car or performance car…This prototype from 1965 is not even His first attempt…In 2020 Chevrolet introduced the C8 Corvette and it is Mid Engine…Zora never got to see His dream hit the street, But You can see that He was way ahead of His time in this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette XP-819 Prototype from the National Corvette Museum…Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with what I believe to be a 1937 International Heavy Duty Hot Rod Street Truck…I couldn’t find a ton of information on it…But I can tell You whatever it is…It is very cool….I don’t think this is what it looked like back in the day…I feel there has been a ton of fabrication work done to it…It’s covered in a deep black paint with just a little chrome and red accenting it…The interior is red with a red and black Houndstooth insert….The interior is Hot Rod custom and fits the build perfectly. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and center caps work well with the old school cool look of the rest of this 1937 International Heavy Duty Hot Rod Street Truck from the 2021 SEMA Show. It way laying on the ground so I was unable to see what’s happening under there but from the look of the rest of the truck I would expect it to be upgraded to the latest technology and finished to a nice level. This 1937 International Heavy Duty Hot Rod Street Truck from the 2021 SEMA Show is way cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from Big Oak Garage in Hokes Bluff AL, I catch up with Will Posey and check out their latest build, this 1961 Chevrolet Impala Custom Rod…Dan Duffy’s “Dirty Martini”…Dan had a Impala back in the day and He has had several cars since…But He always wanted to do another Impala. He had a Friend that Built some of His other Custom Cars that always wanted to Wedge Cut a Impala with Dan…By the time Dan was ready…His buddy didn’t have in Him to take on such a extensive project. Dan had Big Oak Garage do some work for Him in the past, and after He and Will had some conversations about doing a Impala….Will was sent to find the Car they would start with. The 1961 Impala He found was in pretty good shape and was a project that had been started by it’s current owner…That was a couple of years back…2022…It’s finished and the work is incredible. This 1961 Chevrolet Impala is covered in it’s own Dirty Martini green color trimmed in a off white…There are a ton of body modifications that the casual fan of the bubble top Impala won’t see..That’s why we got a stock bodied 1961 Chevrolet Impala to set next to it on part of this video…The leather interior is all custom and the color is a exact match to the rest of the trim color…Wheels are one off custom that I’m sure not everyone will like…But that I absolutely love…Under the custom hood is a very cleanly installed polished 509 W block V-8 with a lot of custom panel work….The underside is just as nice as the top…Painted in both colors making it a true work of art…This 1961 Chevrolet Impala from Big Oak Garage is as custom of a bubble top Chevrolet Impala as I have seen…Very cool for sure…Check it out!!

I have posted several other videos that I filmed on this visit and in this the last one, This video is made up of clips that I shot that didn’t fit into the other videos..The Gilmore Car Museum is such a awesome place that I didn’t want Y’all not to get the complete tour…If You have never been to the Gilmore Car Museum it’s a place you have to visit…Even if You are not a complete gearhead…They have a ton of transportation history to see and they do a very good job at presenting in a way that makes learning fun..The Gilmore Car Museum is on a beautiful 90 Acres piece of land in the middle of miles of corn fields and is worth a visit just to set up under a tree and unwind…The Gilmore Car Museum has several events every year…Even in the winter time when it is cold in Michigan, they come up with cool things to attend. Check their Facebook page and Website for a list of different events…Dates and times…I really enjoyed My first visit to the Gilmore Car Museum and hope to go back in 2022…Very cool place for sure…Check it out!!!
