In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama, World Of Wheels, Cavalcade Of Cool held in Detroit MI, I catch up with the 1951 Studebaker Pickup “Bertha”…When the weekend was over this 1951 Studebaker Pickup won a Great 8 at the 2022 Detroit Autorama. It’s covered in a deep red paint that is close to a factory Ford color…With a little change to it’s shade. It’s trimmed in a factory Chevrolet Corvette color that has been massaged a little…They work well together for sure!!..The all leather interior is all custom and very fitting for the build…Wheels are a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The stock Corvette wheels they used look custom and work well with the theme of the build…Under the custom hood is the heart of a modern Corvette….And the rest of the Corvette drivetrain to put the power to the road…This custom 1951 Studebaker pickup has a ton of detail and modifications….They are all finished to a very high level…Great 8 level!!…Very cool for sure…I’m a BIG fan of this 1951 Studebaker Custom Pickup from the 2022 Detroit Autorama, World Of Wheels, Cavalcade of Cool and I am sure You will be to…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama World of Wheels Cavalcade Of Customs Custom Car Show held in Detroit MI, I check out the Original Zinger Collection. I always loved these things as a Kid and I still do…Not just the original ones that where built back in the day…But the whole over exaggerated motor hanging out of the hood style…My buddy Bradley that founded the Blown Mafia was certainly a fan growing up as a Kid. The funny thing is…Or should I say the very cool thing about the Zinger style is that is was a Kid at a Detroit Autorama back in the 60’s that started it all!…Yep! A Kid entered a Model that was made up of several different kits and had a HUGE motor in a small car…Everyone was blown away…Even the builders of the full size cars where checking them out . They were the talk of the show, seeing the reaction that people had to them, The promoter had bigger ones built to help promote the Autorama Car Show Series….And that’s what I have in this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama, Several of the original ones that were built….The Dune Buggy… Corvette… 70’s Van.. A VW Bug…A dual rear wheeled Dragster!!??!…Even a SEMI Truck….Like I said as a Kid I was a fan and I am stoked that as a adult I got to see them in real life…The Original Zingers Collection from the 2022 Detroit Autorama….Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN, I catch up with this way cool 1956 Ford F-100 Custom Pickup…It’s covered in mile deep black paint with just a touch of chrome…Classic cool…The custom leather interior is a close match to the brown of the bed wood…it’s custom but nothing over the top…Fits the rest of the build really well….Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I dig the ones they chose to run on this 1956 Ford F100 custom pickup…Under the hood is a very cleanly installed Jon Kaase Boss 520 V8 that will give this truck all the power and noise it needs to get down the road…The underside of this 1956 Ford F100 Pickup Truck from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run is just as clean and nice as the rest of the truck, With all the top of the line suspension and brakes to make sure it handles and stops as well as it looks…There are a ton of body modifications made to this 56 Ford F100….None that are obvious and none that take away from the cool of a 56 Ford pickup…I’m a Fan and I am sure You will be too…Check it out!!!

In this video from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, I show up just as they finished up this 1971 Chevrolet Impala Convertible…Donk! When the car showed up at Pro Auto Custom Interiors it caught My eye…This isn’t the style of build that Pro Auto Custom Interiors usually does, but when I took a closer look I could see that this is a very nice car…Well built and done to a very high level…It’s covered in a Medium red paint color, trimmed in Gold and Chrome. Steve and the Boys out at Pro Auto Custom Interiors didn’t build a custom interior for this one…The interior is custom and leather but looks like it came from the factory that way back in 1971. What Steve and the Boys did was install it and make some small pieces that where needed to complete the install….Under the hood is a Twin Turbo 427 making over 1100HP…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone. First to be a true “Donk”…they have to be at least 24 inches….And they don’t have to be gold plated….But it’s cool if they are…The wheels fit the build….The whole car is done with the three things it takes to build cool…Time, Talent and Money…Like it or not…This 1971 Chevrolet Impala Convertible from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interior has all three….Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen that was part of the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN, I do a walk through of the 12 handpicked Vehicles that were invited to represent ScottieDTV in the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen. Several years back Rod one of the Promoters of the Pigeon Forge Rod Run and I came up with a idea to invite 12 Cars or Trucks that I had featured on the ScottieDTV.com web channel and display them at the front of the Le Conte Center, during the Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run. Every year it seams to grow and the quality of the cars and trucks just blows my mind…2022 was no exception…I spend all year trying to put together what I think will make people say…WOW!!..There where a lot of WOWs this year….I had a couple of custom pickups, several custom Cars…the years range from 1932 to the 70’s….Some are over the top custom….One is a nicer than new Trans Am…I try and invite not only cool Cars or Trucks….But I want and try and make sure all the major American Manufactures are represented…I try and invite both Cars and Trucks….Some are built by the Worlds Best Custom Shops….Some are built by the owner and their Buddies…If You have never been to the Pigeon Forge Rod Run….You need to put it on Your list of things to do…It’s been going on for over 39 years and it’s a BIG deal…Good time for sure…There is a Spring and Fall Show, The ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen is only at the spring show…Hope to see You soon!!..The 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner.. “Hellrunner” .This is no run of the mill parking lot show 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner…It’s covered in a bronze color that is close to a color You could have ordered back in 1973…But the paint would have never been this nice from the factory…It also has a black accent stripe that runs over the roof. There aren’t many body modifications…But things do fit and line up better than when the car was new. I wasn’t able to see the interior, But from My understanding it is custom and has all the options you would have got on a 2016 Hellcat…Under the hood is the 426 HEMI Hellephant engine delivering 1000HP and 950 LBS of Torque..The suspension and brakes have all been upgraded to handle all that added horsepower…I don’t see a lot of this body style Plymouth Roadrunner and the ones I do see usually are restored to stock….This 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner from the 2021 SEMA Show is not only restored to a very nice level…That horsepower shortage from 1973 has been corrected also….Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I catch up with this One Off Custom Handmade Hot Rod Truck…If You can imagine this custom truck was flat stainless steel, round and square aluminum day one of this build…I was able to interview the builder and He tells Me that this is not His first attempt at building a custom vehicle, that this is the second that He built for a competition that was held in Las Vegas during the SEMA Show…He has won both…This one off custom creation has not been done long, but already has 1600 miles on it…So not only was it built to drive…It’s being driven!…It’s powered by a mid mounted LS3…The suspension is all one off custom and can lay on the ground…Or raise the truck 8 inches…The custom interior is all metal and copper, very cool and fits the build perfectly…There is nothing that this custom one off hot rod truck from the 2022 Detroit Autorama compares to…It is one You will have to see not only to believe…But to understand just how custom it is…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I check out the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway Car…The C8 Corvette has made a grand entrance into the History of the Chevrolet Corvette…As I discovered on My visit to the National Corvette Museum…Zora Duntov was pushing the Mid Engine design from His first day at Chevrolet…Zora never was able to see His dream make it to market…But all the rumors were put to bed in 2020 when the C8 Mid Engine Chevrolet Corvette went on sale to the general public….I have to be honest….I had heard about a Mid Engine Corvette for so long…That I had given up, So when they did finally hit the market…I wasn’t a big fan and I would still have no problem with having a C7…Or even a C6….and would have no desire to trade. I have been able to spend a little time around the new C8…I have warmed up to them as they say…I don’t dream of owning one…But I sure would drive one if I had to…lol…In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama I have a Cutaway version of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette…I thought it was very cool to see what’s under the slick skin of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, I think You will too……The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this very cool 1972 Datsun 240Z…LSZ…I found this 1972 Datsun 240Z back in the Battel Of The Builders area of the 2021 SEMA Show….It appears to be a street car with the ability to hit the track when You’re ready! It’s covered in a dark grey metallic paint trimmed in black…A aggressive look that it wears well. The race inspired interior is done in black…and appears to be very functional…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The ones they chose to run on this 1972 Datsun 240Z from the 2021 SEMA Show work well with the rest of the aggressive look of the build. Under the hood is a very cleanly installed LS1…and when I say clean…I mean better than if Datsun had installed in back in the day…This 1972 Datsun 240Z was obviously built to drive so the suspension and brakes have been upgraded to the latest technology…There is a ton of work done to this car….All of it to a very high level and none of it takes away from the original cool of a 1972 Datsun 240Z…..I’m a fan and I am sure You will be to…The 1972 Datsun 240Z.. “LSZ” from the 2021 SEMA Show…Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN. I catch up with the 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup that Nichols Paint and Fab just finished up. I was super stoked when Justin agreed to bring this Crazy cool 32 Ford Roadster to the 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen that is part of the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…It’s covered in a custom color that Justin has named blown head gasket grey…Think of the color of the liquid that comes out of a engine with a blown head gasket, Not a cool sight when it’s your engine…But as a paint color….It works well…The interior is all custom with a ton of detail that makes it fit the rest of the build perfectly…Wheels are always a personal choice and on one set will please everyone…I really dig the one off custom wheels Nichols Paint And Fab chose to run…Look into the bed and it will blown your mind….It’s cut out to reveal a custom cantilever suspension….Way cool for sure…And the underside is just as nice as the rest of the car…And with nothing hanging down,….It’s a very clean cool part of this 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup….And if all this crazy cool detail is not enough….It’s powered by a twin turbo 5.0 Coyote that Justin has hid the turbos in the headlights!??!!?..Never seen that before…This is one very cool 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup that Justin has had in his head for over twenty years….This one will have people talking for along time…The 1932 Ford Pickup Roadster built by Nichol’s Paint and Fab, from the 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen part of the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…Check it out!!!
