In this video from the 2026 Detroit Autorama, I have the pleasure of showing you one of the most talked-about builds of the year—the "Z/10" 1968 Chevrolet C10. This truck didn't just show up; it fought its way into the prestigious "Great 8" as the only pickup in the group!

Built by Kevin and Wendy Flondor of Bump & Grind Auto Body, this truck is a brilliant reimagining of what a "Z/28" version of a C10 might look like. It’s a perfect blend of muscle car attitude and elite-level truck styling.

The Build Highlights:
The Power: Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2L LS engine (LSA) mated to a 4L80E transmission, giving it the "Go" to match the "Show."

The Finish: The custom-mixed "Sand Storm" paint by Spies Hecker is absolutely flawless and gives the truck a modern, sophisticated look.

The Stance: It sits perfectly on a Roadster Shop SPEC chassis with Air Lift Performance air ride, tucked over Pro Billet wheels (20x8 front, 22x12 rear).

The Details: Check out that bed! It features beautiful reclaimed wood, and the interior by Du Now Upholstery is inspired by a '68 Camaro, staying true to that "Z/10" theme.

It’s rare to see a truck reach this level of perfection in just a year and a half of build time. Kevin and his team at Bump & Grind really knocked this one out of the park. This is easily one of the coolest C10s on the planet!
