Get ready for an absolute show-stopper from Cruisin' The Coast 2025! My friend Rickey never disappoints, and this year he brought out the king of the Square Bodies: a truly stunning 1977 Chevrolet C10 that demanded attention from everyone on the strip.
This truck is the definition of "classic muscle meets modern swagger." The first thing that pulls you in is that incredible paint job. It’s a deep, flawless coppery orange that absolutely explodes in the Mississippi sunlight, perfectly complemented by the classic cream-colored inserts in the two-tone. It’s a factory-style look taken to a whole new level of quality.
But the paint is just the beginning. You can't talk about this '77 C10 without focusing on the stance. Rickey went all-out, giving this truck an aggressive, modern profile with a massive staggered wheel setup. It’s sitting on a set of eye-catching 22-inch custom wheels up front and absolutely monstrous 24-inch wheels in the rear. This combination fills the wheel wells perfectly and gives the truck a mean rake that hints at the power lurking under the hood.
And speaking of power... this isn't just a show truck. This C10 has the muscle to back up its looks. It’s powered by its original 350 V8, but it's been completely rebuilt for performance. The heart of the build is a bigger, aggressive cam that gives it that choppy, unmistakable muscle truck idle. You can hear it rumble and lope in the video—it’s the perfect soundtrack for Cruisin' The Coast. This 350 has been woken up and is ready to roll.
The attention to detail flows right into the cab. The interior is finished in a clean and simple tan color that works perfectly with the coppery orange and cream exterior. It’s a comfortable, classic, and stylish place to be while commanding this beast down the road.
Rickey always brings me the coolest custom rides to film, and this 1977 C10 might be one of my favorites yet. It’s the perfect blend of 70s style, modern customization, and raw V8 horsepower.
Thanks for watching! If you love this build as much as I do, hit that LIKE button, and tell me your favorite part in the comments below! Is it the paint, the staggered 22/24 wheel setup, or the sound of that cammed 350?
