FIRST LOOK: Classic Restorations Of Southern Indiana' 1970 Malibu Build (Full Feature Coming!)

1970 Malibu Convertible: Classic Restorations of Southern Indiana | ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen
The 2026 Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run is in full swing, and I just had to get a live look at this stunning 1970 Chevrolet Malibu convertible built by Classic Restorations of Southern Indiana.

This car is the definition of a "stealth" restomod. At first glance, you’d swear it just rolled off the assembly line with its deep Dark Green paint, black top, and factory-fresh interior. But don't let the vintage vibes fool you—this Malibu is built for the modern road.

The Build Details:
The Stance: It looks stock, but those aren't your average rally wheels. They are modern aluminum wheels stepped up in size to give it a meaner profile while maintaining that classic Chevy DNA.

Under the Hood: No more carburetor headaches! This build features modern fuel injection for turn-key reliability.

The Ride: A completely upgraded modern suspension ensures this heavy Chevy handles like a dream through the curves of the Smoky Mountains.

This car was a lock for the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen at the show this year. It perfectly captures that "Day 2" look with all the "Day 2026" technology hidden underneath.

📺 More to Come!
I shot this live for the Facebook page, but I wanted to make sure you guys here on YouTube got to see it as well. Stay tuned for a full widescreen feature coming to the channel soon, where we’ll go even deeper into the details and hardware that make this Malibu a standout!
