This two-day annual event known as the “2016 Fall Corvette Expo” drew in over 800 Corvettes from all over the United States. Promoted by Cooper Events, this gathering of nothing but Corvette’s of all years was held at the Loudon Municipal Park in Loudon, Tennessee. The event had a Park & Show area, swap meet, car corral and a vendor’s area that had increased in numbers from 2015.

On Friday of this fall event, the draw for participants was to take part in the cruise down part of Highway 129 known as the “Tail of the Dragon”. In 2015 during the first ever “Dragon” cruise, the Fall Corvette Expo set a World Record of 423 Corvettes that cruised the “Dragon”. During the 2016 “Dragon” cruise, a new record was set with 435 Vette’s taking part.

On Saturday there was a Corvette only Park & Show area, swap meet, car corral, a vendor’s area and the added attraction of an Autocross for all registered participants. During the two-days of the Fall Corvette Expo there were cash drawings, door prizes and awards for registered participants.
